The size is inherited from the female, or the male if you breed with ditto.
I made a study when I reached that part in X and made all the possible crossbreedings a la Mendel. Also discovered that way during the first two days that Destiny Bond was an egg move for Pumpkaboo.
Formes are coded like species, and thus it is kinda logical they work like them.
The outliers seem to be the Nidos and Volbeat/Illumise. And I guess Tauros and Miltank if they ever get around to work that up, Tauros kinda deserves some Egg Moves.

As of now, people have translated some parts of the text:
- New dialog from Kukui, something about Alola being in the darkness a long time ago until humans and Pokemon defeated the darkness with light.
- Hurt Lusamine is telling someone (possibly Lillie or the playable character) to leave and run away from a monster.
- The new possible evil team is saying "The light-controlling Necrozma took Alola's light!"

At least Aggron can pose as an offensive threat.
Assembly looks like it's going to be an even more min-maxed Bastiodon, ie: still bad. You know the Pokemon is underwhelming when the move they show for its reveal is Iron Defense.
But then again I hope I'm wrong.

like it could have been tackle and they probably would have went with it

I was hoping Adhesive would be Poison/Fairy but that's honestly because I have such a bias towards fairy types
Poison/Psychic or Poison/Fairy would've been nice.
Anything to get unused type combinations rolling. We can have 4 Grass/Ghost Pokemon lines introduced in two gens but Sunflora can't be a Grass/Fire type.
I was hoping they would go wild on weird typing combinations with UBs, considering they're aliens and all.
UB Adhesive being a poison type is good, poison types are good, and Adhesive is cute too so that's a bonus
