The son that no-one seems to want gets two skills that everyone can benefit from. There's a shocker. Dull ranged seems much more useful in this meta (esp. with emblem buffs and drive skills reigning supreme) but at least neither are locked behind a completely impossible barrier of being off-banner 5star or limited reward exclusive. Wonderful sheepy! Keep her safe.

Woo got 2 spring Alfonse and 2 Kagero, 1 of the Alfonses is +attack -hp, and Kagero +attack -def so I'm pretty darn happy with them
I like how Genny has the same attack value as Ike.
Went to summon from the spring banner, got 5 red orbs. You know you're in for some shit when that happens. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/284087929851215874/426841255948058624/Screenshot_2018-03-23-14-33-11.png I WAS NOT PREPARED
Slaying Edge fodder, woo!
Nice Saber is like the rarest unit in the game.
saber is one of those units i just forget exist in the game much like karel, he is overshadowed by almost every other unit in some way
Rate/shit on my next project https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/471/52f7a00d-eb47-4227-a634-8044cdc6da6d/FEH Unit Builder - Cherche.png Field buffs are +6 from atk tac and def tac from teammates. Sturdy Blow 2 gives bulk so she can do more damage and take some damage. Not using death blow since my calcs show that +4 defense is better than +2 attack. Chill Spd 3 is so that she can fight units at 32 speed at the end and be safe, and also give support to Soleil when she duels other fast red swords(wo)men. Res Tactic 3 gives Soleil and Nowi some much needed Res for their DC builds. Deflect Melee 3 (the best part) will allow her to take on fast red units on initiation because their second hit will just tickle her, and the buff from def tac and sturdy blow already gives her another +10 defense. She will get wrecked by any magic user, but that's what Nowi and Soleil will be there for.
I would probably go for +atk -res since she is going to get fugged by magic anyways. The extra speed may be able to help her and can be made passable if you ever use her on a flier team.
Seems like a fairly solid player-phase build overall. Double-63ATK on initiation is egregiously powerful. Good choice on unit too- I built up a 4*+10 Cherche with all the ones I'd amassed, and she's become one of my most-used units ever since. Some questions pop into my mind, however: Assuming it's an arena team, how do you expect to reliably trigger Res Tactic on Nowi and Soleil while retaining bonus points for that season? (Especially with a rotating bonus roster and only having the Askr Trio and Fjorm as guaranteed units) Would you expect her to switch her C skill to Spd Tactic when it's inevitably released or is the 6 Res more useful than the 6 Spd and extra synergy from Chill Spd? Do you find Chill Spd to be a worthwhile B skill to your overall team compared to a Breaker or Guard skill? How often do you hope to face other speedyswords? Could it fit better on another unit instead? Why Deflect Melee as a seal choice when Brave Axe will fully charge Regnal Astra, Moonbow, Glimmer on failure to secure a kill? (Not to mention the amount of skills Steady Breath builds can charge) Do you find the lack of ~20BST to be a worthwhile tradeoff compared to something like a refined Slaying Hammer+ or Slaying Axe+?
She has a superbane in res so I don't want to touch that
Pretty sure she's going to fail to kill a lot of important targets, notably the majority of the green armours. Do you have a ranged unit on the team to follow her up with? Can that ranged unit deal with Vantage and probably also a charged special? I only saw mention of a Soleil and Nowi. Personally I'd trade Deflect Melee 3 out for Deflect Magic 3, allowing your +10 green unit to avoid a shameful death by unmerged Reinhardt. If Nowi or Soleil already had it, screw that, they're better off with Distant Defence since you're running DC builds. I'd also run Axebreaker to pick up more one-round kills instead of worrying about Soleil getting into speedy sword duels when you have a Nowi on the team.
On Arena Assault I will always be able to use it, which is where scoring high matters. I can reliably stay in tier 20 so I don't see a need to make a super good team for normal arena. If I use her for normal arena and I cant use Res Tactic I will use Panic Ploy probably. I also have a lot of 4* +10 ready for Arena if they turn out to be bonus units. I'm going to put Spd Tactic on Nowi, since she wants her speed to be as low as possible since she runs SB+QR3. Also in edge cases Chill Spd and Spd Tactic will allow Cherche to combat more units safely. I don't need a breaker on her, doing the maths only some axe units like hector will be affected by it, which doesn't make it as useful as ChillSpd. I face fastswords in almost every arena match, and sometimes Nowi has taken too much damage and Soleil needs to step in. The thing is, if I did my math correctly, there is rarely a case where she can't secure a kill unless it's a moderately defensive sword or they run deflect skills. And she can often survive one special, even some Regnal Astras because of her tankiness, and the deflect prevents the follow up from killing her. This can throw people off if when she's on my defense team, as people like to bait units instead of engaging. That remains to be seen, I still only score around top 2k in AA, but if I feel like I'm close to the top 1k I'll switch it for the Slaying Hammer+(+Def) to deal with the inevitable Armor Teams. But then I will rework her entirely, probably with a Enemy phase build instead, QR3/Guard.
Very nice! Godspeed on your build.
Reinhardt is painfully easy to deal with though. He has extreme range, or is crippled by trenches, so I can easily bait him with Nowi, and after a Panic Ploy he will be out of business. Without Deflect Magic Cherche can still take on a +10 Death Blow Reinhardt, survive and kill on the next turn. And Nowi has a lot of work to do, dealing with both blue mages and red units, but she can kill them reliably. And even if I gave Cherche Deflect Magic she would get killed by green bladetomes.
Poor Alfonse https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/347448599212326913/427065251071262728/Screenshot_2018-03-24-01-46-49.png But holy shit is he fast with +spd iv and lnd3 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/347448599212326913/427065689883279370/Screenshot_2018-03-24-12-26-04.png With +spd refinement and some horsebuffs he can wreak havoc as long as he doesn't run into Nowi

Ran into this on a mixed team in arena and uh...oh, that B slot... https://i.imgur.com/AIxWAs8.jpg
Brash Assault Desperation. Double Fury will get him (sort of) quickly down to less than 50%, allowing him to double every melee unit
What could i really overall do with a 5* Chrom I still gotta level him so i don't know his IVs
Aether fodder.
Renewal and Reciprocal Aid can make him a pretty decent triage healer, and a decent anti-dragon unit after the rise of heavy-hitting dragon units like Myrrh and FH!Robin. Nowi can still usually eat him alive though.
It's weird how despite Ninian/Hawkeye BHB being so buttfuckingly hostile towards cavalry, the quest with an all-cavalry team was so easy.
He's a good man: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/201153/b65e1e9f-1553-4722-97da-c6fac70977f4/Screenshot_20180325-115321.png With Brave!Lucina backing him up (weapon, skills and support) he has 60 Atk (62 once S-rank), 52 Spd, 42 Def and 23 Res. Bonds are one hell of a drug.
Question: was the criticism towards Illusory Dungeon entirely contained within this thread? It's the only reason I can think of for this one being just as shitblisteringly boring as the previous one with absolutely no changes at all. There's still no reason for high level ranks, there's no reason to do the higher difficulties and the daily rewards still suck.
Rhythm Emblem is the most unnecessary addition to the game ever. I only play it for the orbs and even then I just mash without looking because there's no penalty for not doing so. I'm having way more fun doing Rival Domains.
I enjoy the daily tap battle rewards because I hate spamming the training tower. Those seals aren't gonna upgrade themselves!
It's even worse if you think you can get the rewards once, so most people will play on normal mode and on the easiest difficulty always. There is no point on doing the hardest mode on expert. You can get some kind of seal saying you finished the levels with an S but that's worthless.
So remember how I picked up a Spring Sharena with not-so-great IVs because the one time I didn't get colorless orbs was the time the game decided to give me a 5-star? GUESS. WHAT. FUCKING. HAPPENED. AGAIN. https://i.imgur.com/LAhXLP4.png Okay, she's got pretty decent IVs (+SPD/-RES) but still, give me my bunny ninja!
