Thank goodness, Fir and Vanilla Roy needed that upgrade badly. I've been holding off on upgrading Fir for the longest time.
8% banners are a trap. They're like a black hole for orbs.
Whats a good resource for finally learning how to build a team? Because all this time I have just been going off what girls I found cuter and put them in a team together as long as they didn't share a weapon type.
Mostly that's just experience/trial and error. Here's my current top team, and I'm gonna reason through why I have them this way.
Being an all-fliers team, having someone that can handle archers is pretty important. Hence, Iote's Shield Beruka.
Beruka runs Slaying Axe+Quick Riposte+Ignis to kill damn near anything melee that thinks attacking her is a good idea; this even includes certain Ayra builds, or all of them given the map has defence tiles.
She also runs Deflect Magic 3 because, coupled with her HP pool, she's capable of baiting almost anything but a buffed Rauðrblade.
That said, I don't usually have to take advantage of her ability to wall against colour because Cordelia is running Triangle Adept.
Her build is mostly straightforward; have lance, will stab. Her main job is to make sure pesky hyper-offensive red units can't harass Beruka easily.
Draw back is there so she can be repositioned out after an assassination more easily.
Halloween Nowi has a relatively low base speed for a mage, so I patch that up with Fury 3 and the Speed 3 seal.
She runs Desperation so when Fury inevitably takes her squishy self under half HP she becomes an obliteration machine that destroys even many blue units.
Dragon Fang is there to assist her in fighting off-colour and for certain pesky enemies like Winter Tharja that could potentially survive a first hit and blast her in the face with a special on the return, or just armours in general that run Wary Fighter and leave her in an awkward position with an enemy that didn't die.
Myrrh is honestly just filler for PvE content, she's the one I switch out when the arena doesn't include one of the others as a bonus unit.
That said, her large-ish base damage and unique weapon make her an excellent enemy phase unit, and the benefits of dragon breath in general lets her pick on ranged enemies on player phase.
Everyone is running some form of flier buff in their C slot; most have Goad Fliers, and Nowi has Hone Fliers. This provides the largest overall bonus to attack and speed, letting Cordelia meet her important one-round-kill damage thresholds much easier, and further patching up Nowi's iffy base speed.
A lot of people bring up the issue of "why bring Beruka and no Fortify/Ward Fliers?", and the answer is the team just straight up doesn't need it.
Beruka is a nearly immortal wall, Nowi and Cordelia tend to kill their opponents in one round on player phase, then get repositioned to safety.
Likewise, they tend to handle their fights and get to safety just fine without a dancer, so I didn't even bother pulling for NY!Azura.
A big consideration is synergy. If you have a unit that isn't covering for something another unit does poorly, what are they doing to make up for it?
Cordelia covers for Beruka's fear of hyper-offensive reds that can crack her shell. Nowi covers for Cordelia's complete inability to fight anything green and the otherwise missing ranged option. Beruka covers for the other two having absolute garbage enemy phase presence.
Another consideration is mobility. Fliers can go almost anywhere, other unit types have to think more carefully about their positioning for things like Reposition shuffling around the map to line up perfect player phase assassinations and escapes.
And most importantly, I just wanted a team that would let Beruka shine. Beruka best girl. (in other words, pick a core member of the team and build the rest around their weaknesses)

I've mostly picked based on a mix of usefullness and personal preference
Altough i recently mostly had a lucky streak with Male Robins being extremely good units
Regal Blade refine is kind of exciting, I always 5* GHBs just to have them. Maybe Lloyd will finally kick his heroin addition and clean himself up. Or he'll just get what Eiricav/L'arachel's tomes have (stat boost and an additional point of speed/attack) and fall back off the wagon.

NY!Azura, NY!Camilla, FMorgan, and a promoted or mass merged Cordelia would make a very solid flyer team. Stack flier buffs between the 4 of them and give one of them Iote's shield and you should be able to trample the competition.
If you feel like trying your luck, you can always go for FGrima from the Legendary banner too to add to the team as well.
If any of your Cherches are +Atk (ideally -Spd/-Res, but -Hp is fine too) upgrade that one to 4* and merge any future ones you summon into that one too. She'll require some investment if you want utilize a Brave Axe build, but she's an absolute powerhouse and one of the better units to 4*+10 (+10 merges into one unit). I wasted all my orbs yesterday trying to get FGrima. So I think I tested all my luck on her already. I guess I'll just have to decide whether or not to promote or merge Cordelia.
I'm really hating this new Robin map. It's like IS thought maps like Dark Takumi Infernal or Valter Infernal had too much thought put in them.
So it looks like they put back up last years Easter event. My free pull was a sick joke.

I'm really liking the QoL changes to the garden for this Garden Safari in Pocket Camp. Being able to mass harvest, plant, and water makes it much less of a hassle.
Cleared the Minerva/Maria BHB quests in like 15 minutes.
Brave Bow user + 2 dancers + Fjorm/Alfonse, done.
Just wanna go on record and say that the Xander Flier quest might be the most cancerous one of them all. I seriously lucked my way into a strategy, goddamn.
Also, +SPD/-RES Caeda worth 5-starring or should I hope for a better one?

Bit of a stupid question, perhaps: if your Hector's unbuffed ATK already beats Eliwood's, let alone the bonus he'll get from Goad Armor, why is Eliwood the one with the Heavy Blade 3 seal?
Swap the seals, try upping Close Def to 3 because it's just a damn good seal to have.

I have had so much self control not to keep rolling for FGrima. Just looking at the banner gives me urges to waste all my orbs again. Don't even get me started on last years Easter event.
I find it lovely how i still have had good luck by pulling 5 Male Grima's over the course of Fallen Heroes, while i have yet to get a 5 star from the Legendary banner
