New as in a new alt. Don't think that ever implied a new character entirely. Though, at least there's a groom Marth that's probably a TT reward.

Hero = any unit in the game. Same language used for Easter. And the in-game notice board confirms Marth as a TT freebie. He's also an axe-cav which there's way too few of (Titania, Gunter, Frederick in the regular pool, Alfonse as a seasonal unit) so he should have an easy place in non-merged cavteams. I'm guessing he'll get boosted BST like LA!Wood did to make up for having few merges so get ready for Axe Sigurd.

Now that I think about it when they said new hero, I think they mean the Sanaki. Bridal Sanaki looks shorter than vanilla Sanaki, that would mean that Bridal Sanaki is Path of Radiance Sanaki. Vanilla Sanaki is Radiant Dawn. That's my guess, anyway.

Sanaki is, like, 10, so I guess she's a flower girl?

This is the version we currently have in game and listed in her bio. Pretty sure we have the PoR version as the bride.

On one hand, Sanaki looks like an interesting unit, and her art is cute in an adorable, "must protec" kind of way. On the other hand: why I'm not sure if this is better or worse than Halloween Nowi and Summer Elise. They're showing more skin, but this is a wedding dress. Sure, you can pass it off as her being a flower girl, but still. I like how they've succeeded in finally making Tharja look crazy. Hissing? That weird head tilt when she attacks? I love it. I also like how they've realized "maybe we should do something besides having characters just throw flowers, like maybe make the flowers do something". But then kept it for Ninian, either out of laziness or design.

That new B Skill that Sanaki has is insane. It's a good thing that the AI has no idea how to use reposition offensively.

Flower Girl Sanaki isn't as awkward as Halloween Nowi at least, but I'd wish they had gone with pretty much anyone else. Would've been nice to get some seasonal Echoes characters like Mathilda or Clair. Or, y'know, grooms if it wasn't for the fact they aren't whale bait.

Just need to clear 5&6 and 7&8 long runs on lunatic and I've cleared all chain challenges and I fucking hate them. It feels like you need 4 or 5 teams to be able to make it, it's bullshit.

God damn, that's some dedication. I have barely anything of the lunatic ones done. Then again, when I'm not doing TT or quests I'm usually just grinding HM.

Yeah the hard and normal chain challenges are a bit boring, but hey feathers are important.
