Sometimes they'll be created on the wrong side of the portal, other times multiple ones on the same plane will be grouped into one. I should probably mention that I've added various things all along from d1_trainstation_06 to d1_canals_09. I've got plans for the final canals map. Should I release what I've got already so you guys can play through and give feedback and suggestions for anything else to add?
i think we kinda agreed in the discord we wouldn't add multi track drifting since it's been already done. then again i don't run the project

But then I saw the date of that video and realized you meant it was already done [i]before[/i] this mod's concept came about. I guess that is reasonable to not re-create it and put it in the mod, since it'd be almost copying someone else's work.

This doesn't really help because a lot of the mod's content has been [I]created[/I] by just random Facepunchers who've found the thread. At the same time, at least for myself, I actually tend to forget the Discord even exists sometimes, and I would imagine it's the same way for at least a couple other folks too. The other issue is that we've been getting a little too ahead of ourselves and allowed for feature creep to kick us in the collective dicks, so now we're trying to plan for all sorts of shit like a radio system for the buggy, as well as map edits and whatnot, when we don't even have all the sounds for the game replaced as we originally intended to do.
so yeah this place has been dead for a while The team's agreed to start everything from square one, so this means [I]only sound replacements[/I] to start with, then we figure out where everything else goes.
If Manhack Matt's lines haven't been claimed yet I'd like to take them
This mod will never come to fruition because people just keep coming and asking if they can do this or that. No one replies because there is no main manager, so they leave. The way it was supposed to be, which is stated in the OP, is that everyone willing record whatever they want and post it here, then the best shit would have been picked and put into the mod. But still, I installed a ton of already posted stuff and had good fun.

Just so you guys know, I'm not dead. I've been slowly working on the Overwatch voices still but I'm kind of hanging back until I see more activity/management going on. Don't want to pour time into something that might never happen/become an absolute clusterfuck.
Bumping to help garner some more attention. Also, I have been made project manager, according to the folks on Discord. So there you go. So yeah, we're starting over in the sense that we're just dialing back a lot and going to focus more on finishing the voice work first. Only afterwards, will we start changing and implementing other cool stuff. The only things I can think of that we're keeping right now in terms of the extra features, is stuff that already got finished, like the radio system. Other than that, everything else is focused on voice work at the moment. That being said, here's a list of things we still need to work on, in both ideas and actual voice work: [B][U]Major characters:[/U][/B] Dr. Breen - Portrayed as Kermit the Frog. We honestly just need to come up with better lines for him, that's all. Dr. Kleiner Eli Vance Barney Calhoun The G-Man - Idea has been fairly cemented that he's this Italian mobster type, but if anyone has any better ideas, feel free to pitch them. Grigori - Idea is currently tied between a Mickey Mouse themed character, and an over-the-top stereotypical slavic voice. Once again though, if anyone comes up with anything better, throw it out there.
