Lip Syncing will definitely be necessary so that we know who's talking and stuff doesn't get confusing, but that should be the last thing we do.
I mean, what would be the point if it wouldn't really look like Kermit's voice is coming out of Breen?

Iirc that needs to be done manually with Faceposer... for every line... which is way too time-consuming and not necessary imo.

Vortigaunt running screaming in pain during elevator scene at eli's lab
Random person inside elevator at eli's lab
Interrogation chamber that's also a gay bar with chains and whips + gimp mask, possible music playing as soon as gordon leaves
Magnusson finishing off Gordon at the end of the game (casserole revenge)

Also, as cool as these are, they require decompiling and doing edits to the maps which can break them really easily. I'm a mapper so I'll join the discord and try to help out, but I wouldn't go overboard with map edits.

Doesn't Source have a sort of "Auto-Lip Sync"?
As far as I know it's not as good as doing it yourself, but it'll work.
Then again I could be talking out of my ass and it doesn't exist at all.

I feel the need to get a consensus from group organizers so I'm not wasting my time: Should I keep going ahead with replacing the lines of the male citizens with cr1tikal voice impressions or should I go do other shit/wait to act on whatever else we come up with instead? Just wanna know if we're dead set on anything else because hoh boy, there's a shit ton of civie lines and I don't wanna keep going if we might feel like use something else instead. :v:
Otherwise we could just keep it on the backburner list if there's nothing else.
