could be farming alignment for the ds/ls relics or achievements.
for me. jug tank> sin tank. i just like the rotation and animations better and a bit easier to use, but i find that i hold aggro better as a sin tank when everyone is similarly geared. plus, force jump and intercede are really helpful(ex. Cademimu, EV).
To be fair, Sorcs (and maybe shadows) don't get enough LS/DS points to go full V.

Well, then I'm totally making a Jug once I'll get 750k for Sith legacy unlock. Yeah, I'm pref and don't have any access to them.
Still I want to make a Shadow tank cause being Sage just isn't as great as Sorc. Instead of badass lightning you throw some rocks and force balls.

I've got D1 on Sorc much later than I would get D1/L1 on other classes. Though on Sage I haven't got L1 so fast, but still it was faster that D1 on Sorc.
Does this have a Dungeon finder yet, and if so, is it cross-server
Does this have a Dungeon finder yet, and if so, is it cross-server
It does, but not cross-server. Servers have no connection to each other in any way.
Meh i don't think i can get the gree armour before it finishes :( unless im missing something.

Booo
Farming Black Talon/Esseles just for alignment/affection? That's something new. Everyone's farming them only for social points. And I don't think you need 55 for that. I can farm it fast enough on my level 42 Vang and last time I got tons of points. Wasn't in full group, btw.
Also, since I mentioned Vang, I've been thinking about making more tank toons. Of course I'll get 'tech up soon, but I was wondering, is it more/less difficult and more/less fun to be Guardian/Juggernaut and Shadow/Assassin tank? Especially I'm interested in Jugs, wanted to make Sith pureblood rule 63 of Vader.
Sin's are currently the worst tanks at the moment in the mitigation department. Right now, Juggs just plain do it better, followed by PTs. The only thing Sin's have are their massive threat gen over the other tanks.

Yes they do, every class does, it just depends on what quests you complete. If you are talking only story, then that is on you. No class can reach very high on the alignment scale doing only story, and that is because it's not meant to be like that. You can definitely get to Dark or Light V without ever having to set foot inside a Flashpoint too. I hit Dark V on my Sorc before I reached level 50, and that was when the game first came out, and that was not running a single flashpoint.

Just a note, there will never be anything cross-server. Per Bioware, the engine and their network infrastructure does not support cross-server capability.

There is no point. If you are completing the quests as you go, and you stay selecting one alignment, you will always have more than enough alignment points before reaching the level requirement of the relics. I am speaking from experience here. I'm currently working on my 7th and 8th 55.

Which set are you shooting for? Also, how many characters are you running the event on? It's definitely possible to get enough rep items in two weeks to hit Legend, as long as you have the characters to run it on. It's also possible to hit Legend on just one character, but that requires a lot of farming. In any event, you should definitely be able to get the Gree Armor in one event with just one character.

Ah fuck, I made Shadow tank already. But massive threat gen? Well then it's not bad, at least I'll do my job as tank and no healers should cry about me not holding aggro and getting them killed.. I hope.
Still, I defintely need to get into Jugg tanking, but fucking pref and locked purebloods..

Just so you know, you won't be gimped or anything. You are still viable for any operation, you will just be a bit more spiky than the other tanks.
Seeing as tanking is the thing I do the most in this game, let me offer some friendly advice.
1. Never guard the healer, guard the DPS. Once you get threat, the healer will not be able to pull aggro off of you. Healers have the highest threat, but ONLY initially. DPS are the only ones that are capable of pulling threat off of you.
2. Never start your pull with a taunt. Taunt is your panic button. This applies to AOE pulls as well.
3. Save your defensive cooldowns for your healer, don't just use them. If you see your healer struggling, or they have gotten themselves killed somehow, then use the CD to stay alive as long as possible.
4. Lastly, Biochem or bust! Honestly, Biochem is a godsend for a tank. While they are not as good as the blue items, the reusables are amazing. Four things you want: Medpac, Fort Stim, Absorb and Attack Adrenal. Attack Adrenal in my opinion is better than absorb for a tank. It allows you to generate more threat, and it helps DPS the target down faster.
One other thing I want to mention, but this really only applies to 55 tanking. Endurance is NOT a stat you want to stack. When you can, replace endurance with other stats. Do not use endurance crystals, use power crystals. Always use main stat armorings over endurance heavy armorings, when you can. Even when you are leveling, I recommend taking main stat armorings over endurance ones.
EDIT: Also, tanks do not need accuracy, ever.

I wanted the white blue one with the sniper rifle, but im settling on the black/blue one. I've only got two characters to do it on. my Jugger and my Rauder.

Definitely should be able to get it with two characters. Did you miss any days? What is your current rep?
Yeah i've missed quite a few, i started err sunday i think. I'm currently on Outsider, 1118/5000 with 9.2k weekly remaining.
Assassin tanks should be a lot better once the changes go through. Probably. If they do I might end up making an assassin.

Great info, thanks. Gonna swap for Chem/Analysis on my Vang, if it's not too late to start crew skills anew on level 42. Also, only armorings? Not mods as well?

Mods are a little different. Armorings only have main stat and endurance, which is why I pointed them out. For Mods you are going to be looking for the ones that offer the highest defensive stat. Currently, these are the best in slot mods and enhancements for tanks: http://maulrats.net/forum/m/14414532/viewthread/9907826-bis-mods-enhancements-cheat-sheet-for-tanks. Luckily enough, the BiS Mods offer the highest possible main stat.

The changes were already implemented, and it arguably made them worse off than before. All self healing was lost for a 1.2% damage reduction.
A 1.2% damage reduction sounds wrong...I don't think you're correct.
I have an Assassin. I'm terrible with it
I'm also in that Champion Force Mystic gear which apparently you can't get anymore? Where'd it go
It looks good with the Imperial Pilot chest piece, though
So, back on the topic of Operatives/Scoundrels. My Scoundrel is only 25, and although i know Cull is pretty damn decent, what would you guys say to level as before that?. Been liking the republic side a little more recently, i find the players are much more talkative.
Also still annoyed i havnt done half the operations yet.
Concealment for sure, Lethality gets literally nothing useful until Cull to do with TAs, it's not worth it.
A 1.2% damage reduction sounds wrong...I don't think you're correct.
It's not, that's all the reduction they got from the armor boost. The only other thing they got was the stacking reduction of up to 4%, but only for 12 seconds. Players are finding it incredibly difficult to keep that boost stacked and static because of the short duration. Specific fights are leaving them with periods of losing the stacks and having to rebuild them over and over. Long story short, they are in a slightly worse position than they were before.

Champion is the old mid-level PvP gear. Centurion, Champion, Battlemaster, and Warmaster were all removed from the game. They also removed the Tionese, Columi, and Rakata gear. I would keep the shells if I were you, as they are no longer obtainable.
Also, why would you have the Force-Mystic set as an Assassin? Anything Force-Mystic is for healers.

I'm actually really enjoying the smuggler story, its full of great laughs.
Chapter 1 is the weakest part, too.
Well im just hitting 30 now, so i may see the end of chapter 1 tonight, Sadly my guardian is pretty poor on pub side, so i cant afford to perma 25% exp boost myself.
The only downside to frmale smuggler is your only romance option is Corso, but I eventually warmed up to him.
Corso's just a dumb white knight hick who complains about everything I do, I really dislike him.
Stop being a dickbag then. >:(
Light side smuggler is a way better story anyway.
im a dirty scoundrel i'll do crime if i want to do crime
I'm LS on this toon but fuck Corso, grates me so much.
