Even if he skipped the bonus series entirely, on every planet, he would still be ahead of the leveling curve. He either skipped a planet entirely, or he only did the story quests on a planet(s). I am betting it was the latter. As far as story order is concerned, planets go like this: Korriban/Hutta (Tython/Ord Mantell if Republic) Dromund Kaas (Coruscant if Republic) Balmorra (Taris if Republic) Nar Shaddaa Tatooine Alderaan Taris (Balmorra if Republic) Quesh Hoth Belsavis Voss Corellia Ilum Makeb Oricon The most basic form of leveling is to complete your class missions on the planet, as well as the standard missions on the planet. This means if you skip out on flashpoints, pvp, heroic quests, and bonus series quests, the bare minimum for leveling are the class missions and planet quests. Doing those will ensure you are the proper level for the next planet.
The 2014 roadmap was posted today: http://www.swtor.com/info/news/news-article/20140203 Looks like we have a new story arc coming that will be focused on the actual war. Also looks like we will be getting another RoTHC-type expansion. Still a bit vague at this point
I didn't skip anything other than the heroic missions, and have done a bunch of both PVP types, I'm supposed to be level 28-30, but I'm only 25.
Bought a sub in a moment of weakness. I'm having fun, though, so I guess that's what matters. IA's storyline is great, especially with the male voice actor.
Is this game worth playing if you don't want to pay for anything?

Besides, female IA is voiced by Jo Wyatt, that's all I need to decide what gender should I pick.
Is this game worth playing if you don't want to pay for anything?
Absolutely not.
After a year of not playing I have returned. And goddamnit it's just as addicting as before. Putting my 37 BH aside, I went with a Sith Warrior into Juggernaut. Playing the tank in this game is fun as fuck. Characters added to the list. I'm currently 18 I think with my Juggalo so if you wanna add me go ahead.

Until 10 AM EST, right before I have to work for 8 hours ;_; [editline]4th February 2014[/editline] Back up
I didn't skip anything other than the heroic missions, and have done a bunch of both PVP types, I'm supposed to be level 28-30, but I'm only 25.
Are you free-to-play or preferred?
Subscriber. With the EXP bonuses.
then you fucked up somehow or somewhere
Anyone on Ebon Hawk server imperial?
Subscriber. With the EXP bonuses.
Then you skipped something. There is zero way to be behind if you are a subscriber, especially using an EXP bonus. Before exp boosts even existed, if you did just the story missions and planet missions (excluding the bonus series and heroics), you would be ahead in levels.
Shame the KDY rep vendor doesn't have much stuff...
Fuck Station Guardian One. Fuck him hard.
Wow this may be a very strong opinion but I heavily dislike the PvP Galactic Starfights.
Wow this may be a very strong opinion but I heavily dislike the PvP Galactic Starfights.
You aren't alone, and this is coming from someone who was an early Ace in SWG, and loved space PVP.
Wow this may be a very strong opinion but I heavily dislike the PvP Galactic Starfights.
I feel like I'd like Galactic Starfighter if I could actually see anything. As it is I just get pissed off because I can't really tell where anything is. The ability to look around and maybe a higher FOV would be good.
Interesting, this NPC, Dae'o Soset, the Bounty Hunter gear vendor on Oricon has a really cool chest piece that you can't find anywhere in game. It's a little hard to tell because his arms are crossed over it, but if you look, it has a cape and unique jetpack that you can't find on any other piece of gear. [t]http://i.imgur.com/r8JMEbt.jpg[/t][t]http://i.imgur.com/FdbfP3W.png[/t] Possibly a preview of the next BH endgame chest piece?
Wow this may be a very strong opinion but I heavily dislike the PvP Galactic Starfights.
It feels like such a hack job, it could've easily been its own game with no discernible difference.
So do Sith Juggs in the Immortal tree even have a use in PvP
What's the preferred Sith class? Thinking of rolling a force user.
So do Sith Juggs in the Immortal tree even have a use in PvP
Highest DPS of tanks, stick a guard on a healer/dps that's squishy. Fuck *loads* of CC makes you amazing for holding points too, not to mention force push makes for some great displacement. Your force charge/intercede also makes you baller-god tier for huttball. TL;DR fuck yes they do, try it sometime.
I would but I'm like level 24 and just got Force Choke. Also I'd buy Treek if I could mute his combat voice.
I liked PvP immortal specced more than damage. You get stupid amounts of protection points if you guard someone and taunt often. You're disruptive as hell but you don't do enough damage to kill anyone so it works best in huttball. They're not great for like point defense (that goes to assassins, easily) but they certainly do their job well if you can figure out what that is.
Speaking of which, I still have level 29 Jug in Immortal tree. Still can't play it cause I miss 2 quickbars from sub. It's as great as when I did tank Vang - in those good warzone matches when a healer was helping me out I couldn't be stopped. Also, I made a Kinetic Combat Shadow. Kinda wish to respec to DD tree cause being a tank Shadow feels.. wrong. Like I'm underpowering myself.
What's the preferred Sith class? Thinking of rolling a force user.
Why Sorcerer of course. Zap all fuckers and heal your friends. And already mentioned Jug in Immortal tree.
I can't wait to roll a Republic character after I max my Jugg. I'm so sick of seeing the same damn Sith planets and plots over and over.
play as a smuggler scoundrel, they're the best. you get to punch and kick the shit out of sith
play as a smuggler scoundrel, they're the best. you get to punch and kick the shit out of sith
I'd play Scoundrel but you can unleash your DPS on PvP only. In flashpoints and other group content you gonna have to be a healer. Fuck that.
