In the first month when it came out it felt like there were a lot of deserted planets higher up. There were a few that were literally just me doing quests. :v:

Reinstalled to try it out and see how things are these days. I got a ref from a friend so I'm subbed for 7 days, but I'm not sure what to think yet. Combat still feels off somehow, not sure what it is.
i'm fine living in my magical space ship
I bet the houses are only on the capital planet.
Coruscant isn't any better.
id be okay with houses on planets if there was more to do on them overall? because atm the fleet is the only place you actually need to be on, theres no real desire to stay on the planets other than their aesthetics if youre into that dromund kaas would be great if there was just more to do overall there, idk about republic side cause last i played the consular i threw up at the writing
Now I remember what bothered me about this. The gigantic maps that take forever to get places.
I've never liked that kind of level design in MMOs. Throw in having to return to the quest giver to turn in and you've added a ton of artificial length to any area. At this point MMO's should be making it so you can turn in quests anywhere once they're done. That was one thing I really liked about GW2; you just do the quest in its area and move on, no need to constantly backtrack.
Nar Shaddaa home, please.
which is why I hate dromund kaas. who is the asshole who thought putting the spaceport on the outskirts of the city was a good idea
At least Dromund Kaas has a Taxi right outside. Coruscant is worse. When the game first came out you couldn't use mounts or QT in the dockingbay
I just got my first toon in any MMO ever to max level. ALSO THIS [t]http://imageshack.com/a/img208/2735/jy9g.jpg[/t] [t]http://imageshack.com/a/img819/4434/4knl.jpg[/t] [t]http://imageshack.com/a/img41/4372/75rh.jpg[/t] It will drop on Nightmare Dread Palace And I DESPERATELY want one. More than any mount currently in the game
the amount of heroic quests on some of the later planets is annoying sometimes it can be hard to find groups for them
Fuck comm farming. I went to Makeb as a level 55 and I couldn't beat 53s without taking heavy damage because I can't afford Elite gear.
I hate Nar Shadda in this game. Kotor 2 got it right. It was a bleak, dreary place filled with exploited refugees ruled by corrupt criminal enterprises interested in turning a profit no matter what the cost. Just a horrible, horrible place to be. But in SWTOR it's basically Las Vegas and lolneonsigns.

Plus it's been 300 years.
I hope my Powertech is even more OP in Quesh Huttball. :v:
Reminder for everyone that Bounty week has started
Interesting
Also free 1500 CC for being a sub in April and May. Good thing I'm buying it tomorrow.
So when I was screwing around on my ship at Level 47 while taking a break from class quests on Belsavis I saw I had a new quest on my holoterminal. Curious, I activated it and was given the opening cutscene for the Makeb quest, complete with Class Storyline spoilers! Thanks, Makeb! [editline]24th March 2014[/editline] Also, looking for a change of class once I finish off Imperial Agent. Jedi Guardian or Sith Warrior?
If I may ask, how is the endgame of Star Wars: The Old Republic like? As far as I know Makeb and the following expansions won't add any more personal class story or companion dialogues, which are the things I like the most about the game I just hope I can still care about TOR after I hit level 50 and clear the class storyline for each chara (Advertising myself isn't exactly a fair thing to do, but here is my YouTube channel, with plenty of videos of the stories of my favorite classes: https://www.youtube.com/user/HelioDanto91?feature=guide)
and the only thing I regret is being a tank in PvP is fucking awful.
lol hard at this actually the whole post is pretty funny not just the part i quoted. Imagine being that wrong on all counts.
being a tank in PvP is fucking awful.
Oh yeah? And that was only lowbie tier.
tanking in pvp is so satisfying if you're good at it and understand what your role is Typically as a Jug/Guard tank in pvp your role is much more active-defense oriented than the other 2 tanks. Meaning you're always in range of your guarded target and keeping threats away from them/ debilitating threats. When you're seperated from them you have buffs/abilities that help you get back to them. Ptechs/ Vanguards are seemingly more suited for Offensive Tanking. You should guard people but you're well equipped to get in the enemy's face and take the punishment as you debuff them. If you do end up guarding a node, shoulder cannon is a great deterrent from stealth caps another pro-tip to being a good pvp tank: dont plop your guard on a healer and say "yes you will be my guard until i die!!" switch guards to whoever is being attacked the hardest, not only that but use your taunts effectively. Never single target taunt a healer by accident. make sure the aoe taunt hits at least 2 people. Are things dying down where you are? go find trouble, you are the law. You should become the worst nightmare of the dps on the opposing team.
Man Guardian/Juggernaut tanking in pvp is like the greatest fucking thing ever. OH BALL CARRIER IT WOULD BE A SHAME IF SOMEONE PUSHED YOU INTO FIRE. It's even better when you guardian leap to an ally, then charge and enemy and gain some crazy distance and not give a fuck because Guardian cooldowns so stronk.
How're the storylines of SW and JG? I realise nothing will be quite as good as Imperial Agent but I prefer this game more for the class missions and PvE content. I really don't play much (if any) PVP. Also all this stupid sniping from behind portable cover makes me want to chop dudes with a laser sword

I dropped the character around Coruscant because, no matter how you roleplay him/ her, he/she will remain a rather annoying Mary Sue regardless
How're the storylines of SW and JG?
For SW, you will know how it ends by Chapter 2
