SW is the better story imho, really enjoyed it light side.

I think i'm set on the appearance of my pvp tank set now
are those spikes for catching the huttball
my sentinel is 91 rating away from the rancor mount :(
i dont think i'll be getting it
So i just got back to playing this after stopping right after release i used the cartel coins i got from subscribing to buy a crate.
Said crate gave me a Ando firewasp and a Jundland Dewback. Since these are mounts, i figure they are rare. How lucky did i get and can i sell these?
Animal mounts usually cost a shitton of credits.
The bigger and flashier the mount is, the more credits it sells.
Just checked, dewback sells for 4mill roughly.
I've decided to keep the mounts though.
Has anyone ever beaten the bonus boss on Hardmode Lost Island? I hit 50 very recently and have had the misfortune to stumble into this shitty flashpoint 3 times now, and no matter how many times we tried we couldn't kill that xenomorph looking bitch. Also the whole fp as a whole is so unnecessarily difficult, especially that faggot Dr. Lorrick
when the boss activates that avalance thing, just keep running. don't stop moving until the floor stops shaking and then resume attacking. rinse and repeat until it's dead (or you couldn't beat the enrage time?). LI used to be much, much worse before they nerfed it.
4/11 - 4/13, new double xp weekend. KDY will work now.

That's pretty convenient: I was thinking about rising my two alts
real talk, new huttball map is incredibly unbalanced for troopers/BH's
since scoring is all about not being knocked off the top, just pop your overrides and lawl through
Great update so far, the only thing you can see in fleet chat now is Dread Forged stuff crafters. No one's even pugging ops.
my trooper is really pwn i should make a new imperial agent though cause i dont like my current agent even tho shes level 29 and she was my very first char
Ladies and gentlmen, i present, the best pvp video and only one i've made since griswald vs the entire ilum pvp zone

yay
server first nightmare brontes kill
Is subscribing worth it?
you can probably get away with f2p until endgame, if you want to do anything serious it's cheaper to subscribe if you have the income for it. way less hassle
If I can repeat my question, what does the endgame of the Old Republic look like? What exactly are you able to do? Dailies? Achievements or titles hunting? Other things?
As I'm writing this I'm mainly focusing myself on clearing the class stories I'm interested too while I have still a subscription up

Daily areas, flashpoints and operations.
I'll admit that's a little scarce, but I'll be sure to experience it first hand before judging

Ranked pvp is fun if you play a fotm class
juggernaut dps and powertech dps are in season atm
(powertechs have been fotm in pvp for like ever though)
How are jedi sentinels?
I'm really thinking about starting again, but I'm not sure i like my class too much (he's already 20 and has awesome gear tho)
I may want to go jedi shadow because rogues are cool. How are shadows in pvp? What about tanks in pvp? i guess tanks are awesome... we'll see
If you want to play a Jedi sentinel, be mindful: the class content will be unfairly hard for you
If you want to play a Jedi sentinel, be mindful: the class content will be unfairly hard for you
yeah, some of it has already been pretty challenging

Sent is just so horrendously gear based, that said, makes it hella fun when you've got it.

I'll be more precise.
Both Sith marauders and Jedi sentinels are designed as glass cannons dps classes that can dish out a great deal of damage but can't take that much themselves. That's why they have some debuffs and damage mitigating abilities.
The fact here is that the Jedi knight story seenm to have been designed specifically for a tanking Jedi guardian. While rolling a Sith marauder makes the warrior's story far more challenging than it needs to be, picking a Jedi sentinel makes the class related content a damn nightmare.
The final boss of the Jedi knight story is the worst offender: you are forced to face an opponent that starts the battle with several ELITE copies of himself, with each capable of dishing out very damaging dark side Force powers. Ah, and the game FORCES you to use a particular companion. A major pain.
i can think of one person here more qualified to answer sentinel questions than 98% of the player base
ya
bepassley
Sentinel/Marauder literally has some of the best Defensive cooldowns in the game, if you have trouble with anything you may be doing something wrong.

1. Carnage/Combat is the glass cannon spec. Focus/Rage has a fair bit of defensiveness to it and on-demand burst, Anni/Watchman is self healing so nuff said there. The class has as many defensive cooldowns as a tank class would have (1. Cloak of pain (damage redux, sends damage back to attacker) 2. Saber Ward (hands down one of the greatest defensive utilities in the game) 3. Undying Rage (Invincibility? hello?) 4. Force camo (damage redux???))
The JK story was certainly not designed for a tanking guardian, considering tanks don't feel all that tanky until endgame anyhow. You're probably playing a sent wrong if you think it makes things more difficult.
Here's a tip for the final boss of JK story: Respec to Focus, force camo on the copies, and crit sweep all of them, and youuuuuuuuuuu're winning.
fucking nerd
