Oh right Well do that then
the best way to level a gunslinger is up to 51 in sharpshooter then switch to sab when you can rollbang
Yeah, I respecced into Sharpshooter.
rollbangs are hard to pull off, though. then again I never did like the sab tree. I guess it's personal preference, really.
So I just got Bowdaar, can he tank? And should I gear him like a Jedi Tank?
Bowdaar best fucking tank son. Iirc you'll want str + end and all the usual tanky stats (Shield,defence etc)
check the gear he comes with to know what his stat priorities are iirc he starts out REALLY undergeared so if you want to tank with him then gearing him is your #1 priority and turn off wookie toss, it'll get you killed. a lot.
New weapons coming in 2.8, the first Pistol reminds me of Deckard's pistol from Blade Runner http://imgur.com/a/Xh0Rs [editline]12th May 2014[/editline] Wow the SWTOR subreddit has some gold, Parkour anyone? I honestly don't remember why I tried this and uninstalled it. This seems like a pretty damn solid MMO to me. I'm actually thinking of canceling my pre-ordering of WildStar for this, since this is mostly cheaper and more worthwhile. But I'm going to wait until I get my character to at least level 10 before I make any final decisions.
Honestly the endgame was a bit weak at release but now it's pretty solid. PvP's fun, and PvE's great. It does something a lot of MMOs can't do, it makes the leveling process enjoyable. Sure, it's buggy, but I've played it for...well, way too long, and I still enjoy it.
I've been playing since beta. I almost didn't pre-order but I did, and I'm glad. It's been a fun journey watching bioware learn as the game goes on.

Someone on the subreddit got their Sith Warrior to 55 without going into an advanced class. Christ.

I got a pt to like 40 with just punches
In the past I used to play The Old Republic as a Preferred player and just roll my favorite classes for shit and jiggles. Now, however, I want to enjoy the endgame content as well and I'm starting off again with my favorite class, the Sith warrior. I'm nearly done: I mean, I'm currently questing on Voss and my toon is level 47, so I'm not that from level 50. One of the main reason I redid my warrior was to do a better recording of his class content. This is my current YouTube playlist about him, but I'll upload the new videos once I'm done: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKHsz8Z4AAU-QvHos5RpfmzcG_shbr_3x Here's how my Sith juggernaut is looking right now: But I'm just waiting to equip my personal Sith warrior's wet dream, the Primeval Paragons's Body Armor (http://www.torhead.com/item/fzGnaO8/primeval-paragons-body-armor) and the Wayward Warrior’s Mask (http://dulfy.net/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/swtor-wayward-warriors-mask-4_thumb.jpg), which is one of the few masks for a warrior working alongside a hood
this armor is on the pts, apparently. i think i need to make a merc.
Also they may have overbuffed madness assassins http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=740266 check the parses
it's a melee dot spec tbh it should be the highest dps potential
don't get me wrong i'm super okay with it but now people are going to complain like they always do
Best thread on the official forums http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=741411
don't get me wrong i'm super okay with it but now people are going to complain like they always do
people have complained about every aspect of this game since it's inception though
Yeah but that's /v/ and people who want to be /v/ members.
So I got Treek, she is the best healer/tank companion.
Whats the current end-game raid called? was looking to view some Assassin dps vids. nolstalgic for my first toon. ;_;
Whats the current end-game raid called? was looking to view some Assassin dps vids. nolstalgic for my first toon. ;_;
If I'm correct, we are still around the Dread Fortress On a side note, I've finally cleared my Sith warrior story. I still consider it to be one of the best around, followed by either the Imperial agent or the Sith inquisitor/Smuggler Also, this is the armor set I'll use from now on. Endgame warrior's sets just sicken me: (And this was before getting the pants they give you after completing your final class quest, which are even better)
After revisiting Kotor 2 I'm looking into trying this game out and I find the story element the main reason for it. Something to substitute a third game. I heard different things about the class stories. I want to play as Jedi Knight, is it good enough? One opinion I keep reading is the Empire side has much cooler plots but I'm not really looking into playing as the bad guys.
All the class stories impact on the overall The Old Republic game's plot in one way or another That said, some of them deliver a greater impact than others The Jedi knight story is often labelled as the story for people who want Kotor 3: you are basically the supreme paragon of the Jedi order in an effort to stop the most powerful Sith lords the Empire has to offer, and you even get to interact with the Emperor himself to some capacity. Also, the knight's story is a catalyst to several other stories, like the Sith warrior's If you ask for my personal opinion on the chara, the Jedi knight story is common Star Wars storytelling coated in enough epicness to make it worth it, but I found the Mary Sue-ish nature of the toon, no matter how you roleplay him/her, simply unbereable (again, you are the chosen one and all that shit) Also, take note that the Empire isn't necessarly the home for the bad guys: in this game the Empire is given a very solid motivation to go after the Republic, there are a lot of reasonable and well-intentioned Imperials and you can totally play as an heroic Imperial character (which often awards you fare more than to simply go for the darker route)
Play Imperial Agent if you like to be a rad as fuck spy who deals with SPY THINGS.
Best story, hands down and most of the community will 100% agree is the Agent. There are enough endings from the choices you make to warrant 3-4 alts to see it all. It's almost a game in itself.
