So, I've decided to play this game for a bit longer because I need the Sith warrior's story on Nar Shaddaa for this playlist of mine I see they changed some things while I was gone The disciplines system is actually pretty good: it allows your character to put his role's shoes earlier and increases the customization of your character's abilities I've also seen they have given certain abilities a more distinct visual clues (namely, retaliate's icon now glows when you can activate it, thankfully)
edit: nevermind

Watch out for a swarm of various spellings of Ahsoka I wonder what that "Outfit Designer" is.
3.1 is the best thing to happen for jug tanking since 2.0 that's a mil damage as full tank gear immortal lol
I uhh, should level my guardian this weekend as tank. Also is that new warding strike the same animation for jugs?
I uhh, should level my guardian this weekend as tank. I need to level my guardian (unplayable) now since it's name is only getting more ironic
A speeder that has a similar design to the one in the Episode 7 trailer was found in the game files http://makingstarwars.net/2015/02/reys-type-speeder-star-wars-force-awakens-found-swtor-data/
i started playing this game again after building a new computer; lvl 26 deception assassin now. Pretty fun
[t]http://puu.sh/glgox/8e07c1f205.png[/t] 16man is fun
So, from what I can find, F2P players don't actually get any exp nerf for quests after level 20, you get the same amount of exp as subs did when the game launched, and subs now only get 25% boost, that true?
Is TOR worth getting back into again?
Wow... I just finally got around to beating Shadow of Revan and that... was just... awful. Rishi was cool, I was invested and all. But fuck did whole final stretch through Yavin just suck butts. [sp]Either way I'm glad we're probably VERY done with Revan at this point. I'm sick of them trying to do more and more with him. Let him go, Bioware.[/sp]

This post really makes me interested though, does anyone know if anything's been changed significantly about their F2P model? They don't seem to ever update the actual page for it. [editline]19th April 2015[/editline] Honestly I could be probably be fucked to spend like $5 or $10 to get that 'preferred' thing as long as I'm not getting slammed with stupid huge XP nerfs.
So I did a Google search, - which I should have done in the first place, that was a failing on my part and I apologize - and came up with this. Essentially what it says is that yes, subscribers get an XP bonus now instead of non-subscribers getting a penalty. There's still a shit load of restrictions as expected, but the XP thing is apparently gone now so it's not a big deal. There's also this tip for F2P players looking to get the most out of upgrading to preferred and getting the first expansion:
Here is a tip for any F2P or Preferred status players that do not have the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion. You have three options to get this expansion: For $5 less than normal, you can add one month of a subscription to your account and get the expansion and 500 CC for free. (Total cost: $15.) For the same cost as the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion, you can purchase the Shadow of Revan expansion and get the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion for free. (Total cost: $20 for both expansions.) For those that want to not save money, you can buy the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion for $20 without getting anything else.
The $15 one-month subscription also has the benefit of letting you set up an authenticator and get 100 coins/month even after it runs out.
I'll be honest, I miss the bounty hunter

So getting back into SW:TOR after getting over the fact EA accidentally destroyed my old SW:TOR account, all $90 in Cartel coins and all the preorder, beta, and crosspromotion things. EA decided to merge all my accounts into an Origin account. Because of that I lost a lot of games and DLC as well. Thankfully they gave me said games back. Not the DLCs though. So far the game seems a bit more fun then when I was an active player.
Ziost is pretty cool, i actually cant wait for the final part.
Bought 3 months of the game, mostly for the 12x Class XP coming this week. Started Ziost on my Sith Warrior, pretty neat, but I feel like I'm taking too much damage from regular mooks. I have not died, but I've gotten close a bit. I think I need to switch back to Quinn.
I'm tempted to come back again Damn it
Been leveling an Agent with my brother and holy shit their story is so much better than the rest.
I like to think they spent most of the time on the Agent story, and they were like "Oh shit, we have 7 other classes to do"
Been leveling an Agent with my brother and holy shit their story is so much better than the rest.
Yes, I want to return to the game to play as an Imperial agent sniper and roleplay as a ruthless, Trawn-like Imperial military office
Yes, I want to return to the game to play as an Imperial agent sniper and roleplay as a ruthless, Trawn-like Imperial military office
I mean tomorrow if you're subbed its x12 exp, so you can just do 1-55 doing the agent storyline, no side-quest filler bs.
But what about gear? [editline]3rd May 2015[/editline] Was the Emperor's name mentioned in game at all before the Ziost missions? I can only recall them ever referring to him as 'Emperor' before this, and suddenly they're using his name. It came out of nowhere. I believe it is mentioned in the novels.
Gears not really an issue, hell if you use exp boosts too you just flat out overlevel content so hard its not an issue, just occasionally grab items from your planet comms
They're also increasing basic comm gain from story missions to keep you in line as you level.
Finished Ziost on my Sith Warrior, now to wait for Monday for the rest of it. [t]http://i.imgur.com/vKRwUpq.png[/t] I honestly can't remember if that is a name I came up with, or from the random button [editline]3rd May 2015[/editline] I'm loving the costume slots, just shoved the pirate outfit in there so I don't have to mess with mods when ever I get new gear. Saves money in the long run
I mean tomorrow if you're subbed its x12 exp, so you can just do 1-55 doing the agent storyline, no side-quest filler bs.
I'm a preferred paesant, so though luck Also, are they already pitting the players against the Sith Emperor?
