If I were you'd I'd just toss down $15 for one month and take advantage of the boost while you can.
And yes. Unless there's some twist. If I had to guess, I'd say we'll fight him, he'll escape and he'll be the antagonist in the next expansion.
Honestly, I don't like such heavy boosts to the experience gaining in a MMORPG, because they tend to screw you up in the long run (you level up so damn fast you don't get good gear and enough credits)
Read a post on reddit saying that it only takes 6 daily coms to fill one piece of orange gear now.
Shouldn't be too bad when leveling then.

They upped basic commendations received from class quests and reduced the cost of basic gear. And if that's doesn't help, there's an item that removes the 12x boost.
So close to having a complete Revanite Pursuer set. I just need the helmet.

Seriously, we know killing people powers the emperor, choosing not to kill a Jedi shouldn't be a light side only option, it should be neutral because it is the smart thing to do, I dunno spin it saying we're capturing them. The 12x XP boost hit a snag and won't be activated for another 30 minutes (1PM EST). You will need to completely restart the game for it to take effect.
Just saw that first Ziost ... cinematic concerning the planet. [I]wow[/I].
Also props to them, their story telling and how they present it has only gotten better, i have to admire the team for that.

I've been playing my ancient sorc that I leveled with rilez back in 2012 again
I'm about to hit Dromund Kaas with my Inquisitor and I have to say the game somehow improved a lot
The discipline system is great (I also believe they changed the last talent tree, which was exactly the same for each specialization, into something more unique for each advanced class) and I see a lot of English in the general chats. Who knew!
for most classes the shared tree just got a different name for one of the ACs, the only drastic change is for BH/trooper where both pt/vg dps trees got revamped completely and in turn the shared one changed a bit to compensate
I like the Assault Specialist for Commando, im just throwing fucking explosives everywhere and just not giving a fuck
12x XP is fucking terrible balance wise, Im dying all the time on my imp char since im undergeared to hell and buying new gear is expensive.
You should have enough comms to get some good gear. Plus class quests give a lot more comms now so you can stay geared.

Grab some cheap moddable gear off the GTN, and spend your Daily Comms from Class missions on Mods from the fleet. They're 2 Comms per mod.
You really don't need to worry about anything but Armour mods because you should be at least 1 or 2 levels above the enemies.
Or just buy some green gear. You don't need Blues or purples really, unless you're doing Flash Points.

Always pick the comm rewards for your class quests whenever you can. When you feel under-geared, go to the comm modification vendors on the fleet, you'll be able to afford it.
Keeping up to par is really easy now.
Trying to hock off a set I don't want, don't see any buyers sadly. Selling it to complete a few sets I need. The set I'm selling is Jolee Bindo's Armor Set.

Since im on a char i created before 12x XP im actually like 1-2 levels UNDER the enemies. I'm making due with the comms though, not having too many issues.
so for whatever reason i'm unable to buy the 6-month subscription, but the 60-day sub works just fine.
At level 59 and finished the Revan content. I find it so hard to grind that one extra level for Emperor stuff, even if I'm so close. Should I just keep doing flashpoints?
Fuck yeaaaah. Made 2.2 million credits on selling cartel stuff I've had stuffed in my locker for over a year.
