KOTFE Chapter 3 Audio leak https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEw-JnlOcu4
[sp] If Marr is dead and Satele doesn't die there is no justice [/sp]
I've just finished the Imperial storyline on Makeb Aside from the lack of class content (but it's about time I put a final nail in that coffin), the planet looked gorgeous, the enemy selection was fresh and the Empire side story was actually pretty damn good, aside from the moral choices you are given, which made my roleplaying harder (On the Imperial side you are constantly reminded how your mission on the planet is a secret and you must not be discovered by anyone. The majority of your moral choices are about either killing people left and right because you shouldn't leave witnesses around, especially the mercenaries, or have your victims or harmless NPCs just ... go away. Without any reassurance whatsoever they won't become a liability. My main is mostly light side-ish, but on Makeb I really held the dark side ball tight, save for the final choice)
I only played Republic Makeb recently and was shocked how bad it was compared to the Imperial one.
Is it worth purchasing Shadow of Revan to level to 60?
I'm currently doing the seeds of rage and Shraud quests before starting the Forged Alliances plot The assignments are somewhat boring and I doubt I'll find the people to clear the final stage of each, which is a 4+ heroic
Is it worth purchasing Shadow of Revan to level to 60?
If you wait until KOTFE comes out in October, SOR will be free for all Subscribers. The XP boost only goes until 55 so you're not missing anything if you wait. I'm only levelling my new characters to 55. I can do 55-60 any time.
Bio ware why. We don't need any more fucking giant fucking things https://twitter.com/swtor/status/634809973734801412
I'm more concerned about where the fuck the Eternal Empire comes from and how the hell it manages to conquer both the Republic and the Empire without much effort [editline]Today[/editline] Ok, the whole macrobinoculars and seeker droids series are really getting on my nerves now They are fucking long, require to travel to basically all the planets in existence and are pretty much uneventful Would I miss a lot by botching them for good?
I think I heard they're from the Rishi Maze, and frankly I think the reason they'll give for how they managed to wipe the floor with the Empire and Republic will be suuuuuuper dumb. [editline]21st August 2015[/editline] Also, I don't think you need to do those for anything major. I just skipped em and never had a problem with it.
It's easier if you can find some people who are also doing it. It was a lot easier when the quest first came out because everyone was doing it. If someone finds it everyone can grab it, you don't need to be teamed just have to get there before it despawns
Finally decided to do the HK-51 recruitment quest. Why did no one warn me of the components quest? Searching for a component for 30 minutes on a capital world is so god damn monotonous. The dev team is a bunch of masochists.
It's also worth mentioning one component WILL require you to create an alt of the other faction to find I'm willing to forgive the whole questline on the account that in gameplay HK-51 is the stuff of legends (imagine a sniper with assassin tricks and an ability that can one-hit kill one strong enemy and below every once in a while) and after clearing it with one character it's available to all your future characters without any expense
Apparently both my binoculars and seeds of rage quests have hit a sore spot because, surprise surprise, there is no one around to help me out clear their very final steps, which are heroic 4+ quests Therefore, I decided to wait for them and playing the first part of Forged Alliance with my recently augmented Sith assassin at level 57 So far it has been great I don't know what to think of solo fps: on one hand, I'm the kind of guy who likes clearing them with three other people and not being functionally invicincible for the whole ride. On the other hand, I've started noticing that the group finder tool really sucks as of late (hours to find people for a single fp and tank and healer pretenders all over the place), so this solo mode could be a way to experience the newest dungeons without having to wait hours On a side note, Lana Beniko is on her way to take Ashara's place as my love interest
Stuck on level 59 with no quests to do and very slow methods of leveling up :(
Glad to know the game is becoming self-aware I'm also enjoying Rishi a lot
Rishi is great! Yavin... Not so much...
some more KOTFE leaks https://torcommunity.com/database/update-previews/887-kotfe-pve-end-game-gear end game gear
Alright, I've pretty much finished all the post-endgame content I was interested in with my Sith assassin main (basically from Ilium to Ziost), with the exception of the macrobinoculars and seeds of rage questlines (no one is around to do the final step, which is a four people heroic) I have to say, while I was sceptical about The Old Republic post-launch content at first, I was plesantly surprised: while there aren't any more class quests, the overall story the game puts your character in is pretty good, as they are the new characters introduced (Lana Beniko :fap:) and the main direction the galaxy's events are taking. They also greatly improved the cutscenes' engine and the quality of the locations you visit, which never feel like something you visited already The only section of the expansions I didn't like is the whole questline on Yavin 4. Not only the planet itself is incredibly small and the story there remarkably short (something that's very annoying because the game introduces the Massassi and the dark presences in the jungle without doing anything important with them), but the final confrontation with Revan (the solo one, since I'm preferred I can't vouche for ops Revan) is underwhelming in a way I think I'll let my Sith assassin rot till they'll release ALL the chapters of KOTFE: then I'll sub for the time required to clear them and unsub. There's really not much left I can do with him, having reached the level cap and the best equipment a preferred paesant can get In the meantime I'll play the game sporadically and roll other characters
http://www.swtor.com/user/ce/1rrm New Cantina Code Also Some new KOTFE Info. All Copy and pasted from the Something Awful forums. Credits to "Waldorf Sixpence" for Compiling it. Companions can now role switch - any companion can be healer, dps, or tank. Companion stats are also now based on your level. Their gear is strictly cosmetic. Lana's had a redesign. New facial tech maybe, or she's aged? As rumoured, Lana is a companion character. She's got 2 sabres and appears to be a dps/heal class??? Cutscenes look bloody good, with new camera swooshes and better sound design Story quests have branching objectives depending on player choice The expansion seems to have a focus on new lore - so new planets, people, etc. They've been given free reign to create new stuff There's a sort of lightsaber pike thing and it looks AWESOME. So flashy lasers. Your story choices can have consequences in later chapters, not just the current one. The expansion's story will continue "after Battlefront, after the holidays" There's going to be a 'season 2' of story content They don't plan to 'punish' players on anything regarding companions. You won't lose affection, you can keep all your companions (in a mechanical sense, not so sure about in canon) All companions can be dps, tank or heal - the reason given was that so everyone could roll with Skadge all the time Companion stats are now tied to your level, NOT to their gear which is purely cosmetic now. Switch in and out whenever you like! HK and Treek aren't going anywhere Story Stuff [sp]Chapter 3 starts with you being rescued on Zakuul by Lana (and T7 if you're a Jedi Knight <3) An NPC says "You are guilty of assassinating the Immortal Emperor". I'm assuming this is some kind of misdirection because dang if that guy is dead before Chapter 3 Zakuul's inhabitants are neither Jedi nor Sith but use the Force to seek "justice" There's a (new?) HK droid, in golden Zakuul colours You're given a choice in Chapter 1 to flee with your companions or stay behind to save Darth Marr[/sp] [editline]27th August 2015[/editline] Also the livestream the info is from
Companion crafting/mission bonuses will depend on influence level in KOTFE http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=8412669#edit8412669
The newest Issue of the Lando comic series has the Sith Empire Logo from SWTOR in it.
I had no idea these were a thing http://m.imgur.com/a/VDVZQ
I had no idea these were a thing http://m.imgur.com/a/VDVZQ
They've had finishing animations since the conception. I think they even had some in the promotional trailers back when lightsabers were lamp posts.
I'm currently playing on Toom of Freedon Nadd if anyone wants to play with me there! Let me know!
Replaying the Imperial agent story as a villanious Empire suprematist ruthless military officer is more entertaining than what I expected Also, you wouldn't believe how many NPCs you can have conversations with in the IA class instances without them having a quest mark on their head, to the point you can easily miss those conversations

The Shadow of Revan expansion did justice to continuing on with it, especially the "post credit" secret ending bit. I'm not gunna reveal anything, but man it's the best SWTOR campaign.

I didn't know a Fem!Agent could romance him It's amazing the things you can still discover about this game a couple of years after launch

He seemed very flirty, which I suppose was just an oversight by Bioware's laziness in rewriting dialogue for all the characters. Such a tease, I was disappointed when I couldn't romance anyone until Shadow of Revan.
I just hit level 55 and finished Mekab. What should I do now?
I just hit level 55 and finished Mekab. What should I do now?
Do you have Shadow of Revan? Should be a mission called Prelude/prologue to Shadow of Revan or something on your ship. Or go level more characters to 55.
