You would think I would remember to word that properly after correcting myself last page :v:

"Whether a companion agrees or disagrees with your decision, you will still build influence with them depending on their reaction and severity of the action. We want to reward you for spending time with your companions and not worry about losing progression or standing by making decisions the way you think your character should."
So it sounds like you no longer get negative companion points from conversations, you just get a small amount.
That sounds like a great change. No longer have to redo convos just to get affection.
Also no more physically unlocking quick travel terminals. As soon as they're revealed they're unlocked, as well as reduced QT cooldowns
Isn't that only for the 12x XP event?
Also the login servers are also down for maintenance, so I wasn't able to start patching before leaving for school :/
Heh there is unique dialogue with [sp]HK-55 if you have HK-51 "You must be a HK-Series droid. I have one.. somewhere[/sp]
I am rendered speechless
I'm genuinely impressed with this expansion. The production values really dwarf everything else in the game.

If anything its the tone that's changed is the biggest part for me, it's no longer an MMO, it's an RPG with MMO elements.
I only did class missions on Tython, they got me to 10 and a half. Took me about 30 minutes. Then I did the flashpoint in SOLO mode. Companions are super beefy now so I thought psh it won't be no problem. But since I was doing it in solo mode, they said Here you go, here's a reinforcement droid. So the 3 of us just wrecked that bitch up. By the end of it I was 14
And this is without the subscriber bonus
So I just killed [sp]Tanno Vik[/sp]

That should be a toggle option for any conversation.

Definitely. I can see that being an issue for some people, but I dig it. I play Wildstar for when I want actual MMO stuff.
Ugh, I'm upset that [sp] Theron didn't come back to me sooner than the fucking last chapter. And not even as a companion. [/sp]

I spoke too soon.

Holy fuck, the animations in this expansion. Like... the lightsaber fights, the dancing, the rolling. They really went 110% with this expansion, and even improved quality of life just playing the game as a non-subber.
Really, if there was ever a time to get into the game again, it's now.
I was amazed by this expansion. More so than when I first started playing the game. It seems like BW finally learned how to work their engine or modified it so they can do more with it. Really excited to see where chapter 10 goes.

I usually hate episodic releases, because I sit here grinding my teeth waiting for the next release. AHHHH
I made my Instant Level 60 a Knight just to steal the armour for a costume slot on my main Knight. I play on using him as a Dark Side knight eventually.
Also auto complete when writing a mail now includes your alts.
FUCK
I've missed 30 Sept to get an early access. At least I'll have time to collect datacrons and do any planetary quests on my Pub mains I've missed.
Well data/holocrons are legacy unlocks now so you only need them once
Does creating an instant level 60 character count towards the Living Legend thing?
Does creating an instant level 60 character count towards the Living Legend thing?
No, the living legends is for completing the class quest. Making a level 60 skips the class quest.
Sorry if this is stupid but how do I summon my companion?
I'm only in Nar Shadda and I can't seem to summon Kaliyo.

Press N, there should be a button to the right of her name plate to summon her.
Neat thanks. Only problem now is I have no idea what weapon she is meant to use. She's running around punching people at the moment and she wont accept her old sniper. I guess she'll be unarmed until I come across a blaster pistol for her?
yeah they changed the weapons some companions can use.
Weapons are like armour, it is just cosmetic she can use any old blaster.

She's seriously not accepting anything I give her :(

Actually, they stated in their update notes they can't use everything. They had lists for everyone, some can only even use one thing.
I believe Kaliyo uses rifles.
The weapon itself is cosmetic, but they need to have any weapon from their weapon class to actually attack properly.
Kaliyo needs a blaster rifle (so not a blaster or sniper rifle) now. You can give her a level 1 blaster rifle and it'll do just as well at level 65, but it needs to be a blaster rifle.
Thanks for the info guys. Really enjoying the game with the new update. I'm not even near the new story arch and its already much better gameplay wise.
Can you still equip your companions with gear for a change in their look?
[sp]My companions all ran off with gear that I put on them never to return because I started KOTFE, and poor Kira is running around looking ugly as fuck somewhere in the galaxy.[/sp]

The Imperial Agent is my favorite storyline in the game, so enjoy!
I'd recommend Jedi Knight and Sith Warrior as a close second. Sith Warrior is great Light Side.
Imperial Agent's a great story. Loved the Sith Inquisitor too.
The Emperor being [sp]the same motherfucker in this expansion[/sp] caught me off guard.
[sp]I am really enjoying that he is still Vitiate/Valkorion..... but from the first Chapter, I didn't see it coming. I was hoping the new guy was just playing coy. Then Chapter 2 rolled around and it was like "oh"...but MAN it's so cool that[/sp][sp]he has changed since we last saw him. I'm curious to see what changed since Ziost. He found love, and some new truth.[/sp]
Oh. come. ON. (KOTFE Illum alert spoiler)[sp]They give me Xalek back but not Khem??[/sp]
[sp]The option to kill him is soooooo tempting[/sp]
