New outfit for my Warrior
i don't like that helmet. I mean, one slot? Do they see through it or is it a camera?

KOTFE Chapter 1 Spoilers [sp]If you use armour previews on Darth Marr, you can see his face[/sp]
KOTFE Chapter 1 Spoilers [sp]If you use armour previews on Darth Marr, you can see his face[/sp]
[sp]That has to just be placeholder. In some book his face was described as being so corrupted by the dark side that it drove an imperial Moff to suicide. In the game he's just a black guy. I don't think Bioware is that racist.[/sp]
I made a new character because I couldn't remember what I was doing on my other one. Turns out I like a specific look to characters.

Eh, besides the Tulak Hord helm, its the most Vader-ish one I can find in game.
Good question though. Dunno how he sees out of it. The Force maybe? :v:
Honestly, I like that outfit, but it's not very... Vader-ish.
Doesn't even have a cape.

It has something from the waist down.

Previous chestpiece I had a full cape but it didn't look as nice to me. The Sith Recluse chestpiece just looks so good. Plus it cost me 6 million credits so I'm going to wear it all the damn time haha.
Plus I meant more helmet wise because of the mouthpiece and the voice modulation. Again, Tulak Hord's is the only other one I feel is close but I feel more like some pseudo space samurai stormtrooper wearing that.
Since I'll probably get into the expansion some time after 1st November, can someone tell me if picking different classes to play the overall story makes some difference or not?

It does. Your interactions with characters will change slightly, and some of the stuff you do in the expansion will change.
I personally really enjoyed Jedi Knight.
Oh fuck, this means I'll have to ... (Gulps) ... create alts
Depending on your class, your character will ask specific questions relating to your past to get answers, also they will ask about companions, and if you romanced anyone previous (including the expansions) they might come up in conversation depending on what you choose to say.

Yesssss come to the Dark Side :v:
Honestly SWTOR is one of the least painful MMO experiences when it comes to having alts, at least to me.
Regarding KOTFE, you know what I just noticed? [sp]Vaylin is basically Star Wars' version of Azula from Avatar the Last Airbender. No really, think about it. It totally fits. Princess of an Empire, daughter of a tyrant, crazy as hell, relentless in hunting people down, incredibly powerful, etc etc etc. I wouldn't be surprised if later in the story she has a complete psychotic breakdown too. [/sp]
So, you actually cannot obtain The Keeper of Truth any more, because of the way that heroics work.
I have the feeling my supposed great love story with Vaylin may be slightly harder to pull off, yes?
How can anyone like Vaylin? She's so bad. She's actually my least favorite part of the expansion so far.
"Oh I kill people for no reason and made cheeky one liners when I do it soooo quirky/evil"
She's written like a 12 year old's ideal "baddass" villain and her voice actor's delivery is baaaaad. She's this game's Kai Leng.

I am now not aroused
I'm level 52 and have bought all the character perks I'll ever use, so now I'm swimming in credits. What should I buy with them?
Edit:
Oh and, I have preferred status so there's the 350k limit.
I dump a lot of money into customization of my character.
I seem to be stuck in conversations. My character or the person I'm talking to wouldn't bother to exchange words. The dialogue wheel also doesn't show up.
Thanks, Bioware.
I was having that issue the first couple of nights the expansion came out, especially on one specific planet.
I think it is literally a server load thing.
Neat, you get a speeder for beating 'The Esseles' now, at least the solo version. Going to assume it is the same for the first imperial FP
Shadow of Revan for subscribers goes live on the 27th, does it not?
Since I have a trip scheduled on the 29th, I could as well resubscribe, play SoR and then jump into Kotfe when I'll return

SoR and KotFE is open for all on the 27th, yep
A lot of people are angry at the 4.0 changes, saying it's for casuals and the difficulty is removed. I say the game was never really hard to begin with, and now everything is far more convenient and requires less bullshit to do. There's still plenty of difficulty in Hard/Nightmare Flashpoints, Ops and PvP. Which is where you want the difficulty anyway, the end game. And the grind to get the Data Crystals and shit for end-game gear is essentially unchanged
So if you delete the Coruscant stronghold while in it as an Imperial, you get sent to Coruscant. You spawn at the Stronghold console.
Not sure if that applies with all strongholds.
You can even use the shuttles to get to other planets. If you can get avoid getting killed by NPCs.
I did it, but I didn't wonder around or kill anything, I just stood there for a few minutes watching the pubs react then fleet passed out.
Quest and Vendor NPCs are friendly, regular NPCs are not, like with faction areas on cross faction planets.
I'd be careful with that as Bioware banned in the past for people being in the wrong place.

I saw a jugg on the republic fleet earlier. He and some random NPC guard had a duel for ages. When I came back the NPC was dead.
Fuck, I'm really wanting that guild wars 2 expansion but I'm also wanting to get into this new expansion. Been hearing good things and some-what awful things.
like uuuuh, sith assassin being the king to melee dps now
So, apparently if you delete your boosted Level 60 before reaching 61, or Chapter 2 they're not sure, you get the token back. Even works with the free one you get for being a sub.
According to some posts it doesn't work 100% of the time, but if you want the legacy armour the boosts classes get you could try it.
