He didn't "Fall" for it, you legit can just delete and remake so long as it's before 61, i did it myself.
id like a video of this happening
I did it. There's a dev post somewhere even stating you can delete a level 60 created character before reaching level 61, and you'll get that token back.

I haven't played in a couple of years, and I never finished Makeb or even played much of the endgame content. Is it worth getting into again if I'll only be playing solo and my high levels aren't even properly geared? I really should've taken advantage of the 12x XP, but I didn't feel like playing back then. :frown:

You only have to do Story Missions and Planet Arcs for leveling. Basically two quests at any given time. It's much quicker. You only have to do class on the starter planets. You can be at 10 and off the planet in 15 minutes with a couple classes There are a few side quests around, but the majority are exploration missions (Hidden by default, view them by showing them on the map screen) which give Data Crystals, which are like Planetary Comms, except they aren't planet specific, and also used to buy the first set of end game PvE purples

If it's still higher than it used to be that's pretty cool.
It's a tad less but not much, you won't even miss the 12x once you start playing
Well, I've just finished the Ziost storyline for the first time. That was an incredible ending. I have to say, I didn't expect something like that from this game. [sp]After spending the better part of two hours trying to save this planet, I lost. And there's no going back.[/sp] I'm super excited to start Knights of the Fallen Empire, now. Hopefully there's more hard-hitting moments like that. Maybe[sp] Theron won't come back to help, since I made him so upset with the last "moral choice" on Ziost.[/sp] Very solid. It's good to be getting back into this game.
How much does it take to finish the currently available chapters of Kotfe, exactly?
Uhh took me abouut 8-10 ish hours
like uuuuh, sith assassin being the king to melee dps now
as it should be assassin master race
I decided to subscribe one day earlier to touch firsthand the new stuff So far, I got a really great first impression. Everything seems improved or streamlined in some way The only thing I'm struggling to understand is the new companion system, but I'll manage If anything, it appears that unlocking companion conversations is now a lot easier. Really great I'm also intrigued by that legendary status you can achieve. I'll definitely consider rolling some Republic toons On a side note, Reaver's Boots are now nowhere to be found on the GTN, but thankfully the Enhanced Assaliant Helmet dropped its price, so i was finally able to achieve my dream Sith assassin
That's a cool ass looking character. I've been playing this on and off since it first came out and I'm having the most fun I've ever had with it now. Probably because I'm an Agent, but I hated micro managing my companions armour stats so i'm glad thats gone
The only big difference with companions os that they don't use gear anymore and conversations are unlocked based on class progression not affection
Hey, it's 8:20 am, 20th of October here, where is Shadow of Revan?!
The only big difference with companions os that they don't use gear anymore and conversations are unlocked based on class progression not affection
I will praise Bioware until the end of time for this change along with being able to give them whatever spec you want (DPS Heal or Tank) to suit your needs and let you use whatever companion you like because of it.
the higher their influence the better then healing/damage is as well [editline]27th October 2015[/editline]
Hey, it's 8:20 am, 20th of October here, where is Shadow of Revan?!
Bioware Austin is based in Texas.. soo I dunno? I think they're doing some maintenance, so probably after that is over
Servers come back up in 2 hours, 25 minutes from the time of this post. But you know it'll be extended. Always effing is. That's when everything's live for Subs

So I've kept myself busy today and reached the halfway point of the Yavin's story. Maybe I'll be able to taste some of the new story content before I'll leave for my trip Levelling my character in Shadow of Revan is making me see what they were going for with Knights of the Fallen Empire, because this pack is an expansion as much as it is a way to reimagine the whole damn game with several tweaks Pre-Kotfe SW:TOR was an attempt by BioWare and EA to fuse together your traditional MMORPGs and their crowd with your beloved BioWare rich single player RPG experience from the golden age It appears that at a certain point however, for reasons I can picture but won't claim to know precisely, BioWare and EA decided that the MMORPG side wasn't going as planned and they needed to push the solo, story-driven side a great deal to go on: thus Kotfe was born I could list all the changes they did to the game that reinforce this opinion of mine, but honestly you just need to play for a couple of hours in the new SW:TOR to discover that the new main beef of the whole thing is to enjoy the overall plot and your class story, speak to your companions and play fashionista with them and creating alts and do the above much more easily and quickly, with many multiplayer activities, if not all of them, being reduced to mere optionals Personally, I welcome this shift in scope because I never hid the fact that the only thing I wanted out of the game was to enjoy the story and the BioWare-ish elements, so Kotfe really is for people like me. But mark my word: the veteran MMORPG crowd is going to be royally pissed about Kotfe and could even leave the game altogether
This launcher download speed is ridiculous
idk if this is the right place but I just want to say that Kotor 1 was amazing and kotor 2 so far is shaping up to be even better (about 10 hours in)
Now that I've finished all the available chapters for KoTFE, I begin to like the emperor wether he is a dick sometimes or not.
I'm currently in the middle of chapter IV of Kotfe and so far I must say the expansion plays and feels great. They really raved up their technical department for this and it shows As far as the story goes, it's a bit too early for me to say anything That said, aside some doubts about [sp]Vitiate[/sp] development (basically, many things he does in this expansion are against everything we knew of him), I'm starting to think Skyward was onto something on the previous page and I've grown to hate Vaylin with a passion. I mean: - She's a textbook example of stupid evil to the extreme (at the point I am in the story basically the 80% of her screentime was devoted to her executing her hunderlings at random) - Like her daddy before her, she's an unsufferable villain sue (everyone is quick to point out how fucking strong she is in the Force and in cutscenes she performs one impressive feat after another) - Her voice acting is ... questionable, to say the least I apologize to any girl reading this, but the only thing I like about her at this point is her clevage On a side note, is it me or the general gameplay of SW:TOR has become really easy? I mean: - You recive such a truckload of experience for the "main" quests alone you are constantly overlevelled, taking also level sync into consideration (I've started Fatal Alliance on level 55 and hit level 65 by the way I finished Ziost) - Your companions dish out fucktons of damage if set on dps mode - Maybe the deception Sith assassin is the new dps sensation, but I kill even elite enemies in mere seconds
yeah they need to tone down presence a bit lana has 100k HP in DPS stance, that's a bit much
yeah they need to tone down presence a bit lana has 100k HP in DPS stance, that's a bit much
Level 65 player had his health up to 80k. It's not too far off. But I don't go around clicking everyone so I don't know if that's the norm or not. He had cool armor and I wanted to know what set it was
[t]http://i.imgur.com/llnaFRb.jpg[/t] Holy shit. [editline]Today[/editline] After witnessing several scenes where my assassin pulls out his lightsaber, I can safely say that the developers didn't bother to give double-bladed sabers unique cutscene animations and they just use the one saber ones
