You lads should totally migrate to the general starwars thread, bring some more life.
You lads should totally migrate to the general starwars thread, bring some more life.
~~no~
hey gris before tomorrow when we (presumably?) run TFB again can you explain my stat priority? I'm Watchman now so if that matters with stats, take it into consideration i guess
I'm kind of tempted to play this. Is there any mods that change the UI? The default one looks cluttered as fuck. And have they added in any races that aren't reskinned humans?
The UI is completely customizable. Scaling, removal, re-arranging, adding, etc. You can change, move and scale everything on the interface. All of the races are re-skinned humans, and they will always be. Bioware stated from the beginning that they would not be adding playable races that are completely alien, such as; Trandoshan, Gand, Ithorian, etc. Their stated reasons were never very clear as to why, but the two main things were gear and romances. I'm back into the full swing of things with SWTOR finally. My Assassin on The Bastion is 55, and I should be full 156 around Monday. I got my friend to re-download the game last night, and we are going to pickup our original characters and level them together. Our originals are on POT5. For anyone who plays Empire, and are on The Bastion or POT5, add me. The Bastion - Enril POT5 - Veyl'rahn
You lads should totally migrate to the general starwars thread, bring some more life.
But then we'd all get shit on for liking a bad game... That and while a general discussion thread works well for... well... general discussion, having multiple topics going on at once can get confusing.

30% force crit chance seems low unless watchman has force crit talents i forgot about didn't you say watchman ends up critting like 95% of the time somehow
30% force crit chance seems low unless watchman has force crit talents i forgot about didn't you say watchman ends up critting like 95% of the time somehow
30% base force crit on your dots with no juyo stacks, 3% crit chance added per stack, up to 6. while zen is up you have 100% crit chance. over the course of a fight your dots should be at least 60%~ crit chance. Basically dot crits are a non-issue in watchman. Biggest thing to worry about is not losing merciless or juyo stacks in any fight where you dont have to, there are a few exceptions and I'd much rather play a dif spec on a fight where i lose stacks often. For example on operator 9 you pretty much <have> to play combat because force sweep is broken on the cores and wont hit them 90% of the time and watchman is highly ineffecient. On the TFB fight itself focus is superor with the on-demand burst
Trying to go through /r/swtor trying to find this answer, but incase anyone knows on hand, are they bringing paid character transfers anytime soon? and do subs get a discount on the appearance change thingie?
transfers come out in 2.2, which theoretically is on the 11th and yes
Thinking about playing SWTOR again and pick up Commando, but tired of doing it alone. On which server most of you guys play?
i can't speak for anyone else but i could always find someone to group with on The Harbinger

So I bought RotHC awhile back, and I haven't even played it yet. I'd get back into this if I had someone to play with. My characters are on Jedi Covenant, anyone else?

kill you're self
In other swtor news, nightmare terror from beyond is actually kinda hard, bioware's learning

On any server and any side. I'm F2P though, but I hope I'll get sub soon.
Leveling a cons on shadowlands just a little slowly, i can't sub cause i've gotta RMA my graphics card on monday so it'd feel like a waste. :c But leveling while not being a sub sucks ass.
I imagine there is a facepunch group, if so where can I find it and will y'all tolerate a complete and total noob?
Man the things I would give for them to sell different player ships on the cartel market. I would give all of my money for my BH to have the Smuggler ship.
Man the things I would give for them to sell different player ships on the cartel market. I would give all of my money for my BH to have the Smuggler ship.
Speaking of ships, SWTOR could use some ship customization. And yeah, Smuggler ship is cool, it's like a nifty combination of Ebon Hawk and Millennium Falcon. One of the reasons I played Smuggler a lot. Others were Bowdaar, shameless flirting with any women you meet, and THAT cutscene on Tatooine. "Stop waving your hands like that, you both look ridiculous!" In the mean time, I'm probably gonna get a sub in the next week, would be cool if someone else could join me. BTW, there should be double XP event soon.
"Stop waving your hands like that, you both look ridiculous!"
BH's have a scene like that too. :v:
Is it worth playing as a F2P just for the story?
Is it worth playing as a F2P just for the story?
Possibly, but it's a lot easier to play in groups, because freebies get shit XP, so you might not have high enough level when you move to the next planet. But still consider getting a sub, F2P is a total bullshit in this game.
I finally found this thread, how many FP'ers play this regularly?
Right now not too many seemingly, im leveling a Shadow on Shadowlands (hur.) That said this thread goes through bursts of activity at random intervals with 6-10 of us playing.
I'm currently playing on The Red Eclipse, i started a week ago and i have a lvl 26 Trooper and lvl 7 Imp Agent. I don't suppose you guys got any tips for someone who is still semi-noobish?
still on the shadowlands, still keepin it real

Also, if you have Cartel coins, don't spend them on that shit from the store. Buy legacy bounded unlocks, start with Rocket Boost.
