Wow Bioware included a good chunk of the story in the patch according to the data miners. :speechless: Edit: Oh look they are putting the NiM DP mount on the cartel market to. This is why I quit this game.
Why I looked favorably to Knights of the Fallen Empire upon release, my opinion on it worsened over the last months due to the long wait between the chapters, the non-existent endgame and the total lack of point to play alts aside from trying something new gameplay wise
I don't then Qyzen approves [t]https://i.imgur.com/G1px2Si.png[/t]
When they say chapter 10/11 is that of KOTFE or is it the class story they're referring to? Such as hutt cartel being chap 4. Or is there really 10 chapters of KOTFE already?
The next chapter is 10. There are only 9 available right now with KOTFE.

They are also all piss easy, I hope you switched off your brain between cutscenes or it will get tedious real fast.
In your opinion, I did not find it tedious at all. I don't actually remember how long it took me to beat each chapter, 30 minutes doesn't sound right. I'm remembering an hour. Might depend on your gear level I guess, how fast you're defeating NPCs. The cutscenes are the best the game has ever had. They made new animations for probably the first time since the game launched. Though some still reuse the same recycled hand gestures. There is this lightsaber fight about, I don't know, in Chapter 7-8? That was really amazing.
My first runthrough of KOTFE took me a good like, 3-4 hours to complete. It's not that long at all really, it honestly depends how fast you're clearing the enemies. I was fully deck'd out in my level 60 pvp gear before progressing onto the chapter stuff and it was extremely easy. There's virtually no real way to fuck up at all considering how much damage your companion takes/deals/heals now.
That would explain it. I was only in the gear they gave you through out Shadow of Revan. Don't remember the stat number Now that I think of it, i think it may have taken me 7-8 hours to beat. I didn't do it in one sitting though, I played it over a couple days.

The encounters between the cutscenes are literally only there to make it take longer to get through the story. They offer no challenge and your companion will do everything for you if you go AFK.
I really liked KotFE.
I really liked KotFE.
I would of been okay with it if they was coming out with some real end game content in this patch coming up. I get delaying things to capitalize on Episode 7. But they aren't doing anything and don't have anything coming up for several months.
Blizz is coming back! So that's cool.
I wasn't aware he was gone? This isn't some kotfe spoiler is it? We should probably tag discussion about kotfe, especially today's new chapter. I myself haven't gotten to touch KotFe yet. I think I'm level 61-62 and still on Shadow of Revan. Just a couple missions into Rishii. [editline]9th February 2016[/editline] I might have to romance Theron Shan just for being troy baker...
It's not really a spoiler. It has to do with something that was talked about by the developers leading up to KOTFE. Light spoilers, but if you want to know without giving away the plot reasoning behind it, [sp]your old crew is not canonically with you in KOTFE. You can still use them like before, but in terms of the canon story, they're all scattered around. Some companions play roles in specific quests in the expansion though, and are reintroduced into the canon, the rest are off doing their own thing. Think of Mass Effect 2, and how your old crew split off to do their own things, and some of them could rejoin you.[/sp]

After like, 2 years, i finally got my ass in gear and finished the Warrior and BH storylines. Because my friends that play this are kind of assholes that consider me shit for not getting legendary yet, can someone give me a quick rundown of the post-game? I've been told to ignore Ilum.
Ilum is only important to the Malgus storyline. I've never done it.
Isn't malgus storyline the end of the base game though? It's labeled Chapter 3 Epilogue [editline]14th February 2016[/editline] So far my post game is playing hutt cartel and shadow of Revan, I'm not even done with shadow of Revan and hit 65 Started an imp agent

Fuck yes, just won a fairly cheap sealed copy of the CE off eBay
I just got into this game, it's pretty addicting. I was F2P until about level ~23 and decided I enjoy the game quite a bit and subscribed. I'm leveling a jedi knight right now, and after I'm done leveling, I dont know what to use that level 60 token on.
I miss this game

New update (5.6) is coming today!
After experiencing the Crisis on Umbara "update" first hand I think I'll put away this game till a new, major expansion-like new content will be released. Which basically means I'll have to wait a very long time. It doesn't help that, while I think the whole Zakuul expansion was overall good and pushed the game in the right direction, it pretty much destroyed the one feature of the game I really liked about it, the roleplaying, so I don't have even any incentive in levelling up new alts
i just wish kotfe didn't gamble on single player so much, i miss it being an MMO the new director guy seems to actually like MMOs for being MMOs though so I'm hopeful
oh wow they completely changed the layout of the cartel market
this game is still very good, highly recommend sorry for necro
