This is the other problem I have with Payback. The world not loading in fully *during races*, meaning you slam into tunnels. Also, more terrible pubbie driving. And some terrible driving on my part, too.
Only experienced that once and it was on the trial, the end of the runway wouldn't load right and you'd phase right through it. Haven't seen it since but that is damn weird how it actually had physics, the way they do tunnels must be by straight up culling mesh in-engine.
Have had the bug at the end of the runway in retail release, only seems to have happened once though. Also noticed on the 350Z the Rocket Bunny spoiler isnt mapped properly for decals so the entire rear side cant be stickered up :v: Theres no denying its a damn pretty game though: [t]https://puu.sh/yl18h/da9c6e251a.jpg[/t]

Also the Fairlady when turned into a super build, its wheels clip through the wheel arches because they lowered it too much.

All I know is that I have a 50% chance of smashing into a long-distance mesh mountain trying to enter any tunnel near the start of a race I have, in fact, also experienced the world unload infront of me; Ghost really should look at how the world works up in the online segment of the game, something is going on lol Also, speaking of stuff not appearing - other cars. Their shadows do, at least, but you'd think the game would load blank cars before loading their specific traits instead of just not loading anything. Not really that much of a problem except when you rear end invisible cars, but hey.
Ye olde NFS3 OST, Knossos by Saki Kaskas
RIP Saki Kaskas. Amazing musician.
I haven't had any popin issues myself, but, at least it isn't as bad or frequent as 2015's "if you have any other application open on your pc that uses the hard drive, the world will never load" issue.
RIP Saki Kaskas. Amazing musician.
Still hoping Rom unleashes some of the riffs Saki made for his tracks that he ultimately never used in a tribute album or something, he has like days of the stuff

Got a sudden urge to play some Assetto Corsa, I didn't touch the wheel for months. Would really like to do a trackday again so I arranged it with Ikuconondule on SUNDAY, 1PM GMT. Also my internet had an upgrade so I don't have 700ms ping anymore. Come join us, we'll figure out what to do in FP SimRace Discord.

Holy shit, the new Need for Speed is the cringiest shit i've ever seen. "Keep playing those odds, Racer!" Absolutely fucking not! There are no redeeming qualities in that game. No one even tried to make anything but a blocky, washed out gambling platform.
After 6 days (6!!!) I've FINALLY managed to download Forza 7 without having downloads fail. now to wait forever for it to install with powershell [editline]a[/editline] oh god people weren't kidding when they said the multiplayer was SHIT why do cars bounce off eachother like tennis balls off a wall?
I tried ride, it's a fun game
skip to about ~0:30 for some smart ai
Is Project CARS 2 worth the current sale price? I watched Empty Box's overview and he said it was better than the first game across the board, but I'm still seeing a lot of negative reviews. I already own rF2, AC, R3E, AMS and pCARS1. Is it a worthy addition and upgrade to pCARS1?

The best way to describe PCARS2 is "like Project CARS 1, except it usually works." PC1 was a nightmare of a game because it was so thoroughly broken that it ruined what was otherwise an extremely good entry level racing sim with a lot of character. PC2 is a lot like PC1, but with way more content and variety, and the game mostly works. It's still dumb and broken in some places, but it's completely playable now. Based on what you own, you probably already know what you like and what you're looking for, so the rest just comes down to you. Personally, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but PC2 ended up kind of replacing R3E as my go to racing sim. I wish it sounded as good as R3E, but I've otherwise really enjoyed it.
FH3 Car Pass $11 on windows store. time to pimp out a Volvo 240 and a fuckload of falcodores

I came from playing Forza 7 with a wheel/pedals/stick and so far the actual driving feel is so much better than FM7. Oh, and the AI to me is somewhat impressive in that they don't just attempt to drive straight fucking through you like in FM7. For me I'd say yeah it's worth it to grab PC2 on sale, it seems to be a direct upgrade from the first.

For those who can't make up their mind about Project CARS 2. You can now download a demo of it through the Steam Store page. It has Red Bull Ring, which is one of the best tracks in the game, and a couple cars for you to drive around with.
For christmas I will be getting my first steering wheel and pedals and I cannot be more excited. I can finally...actually...race. I'ma cry.
does anyone want to see a magic trick [vid]http://my.mixtape.moe/gjuumd.MP4[/vid]
God every time I hear the race cockpit sounds of Forza 7 I love them even more. Is that the STCC Volvo you're driving? Sounds like a straight 6 which I think the Volvo has, but I can't think of any other I6 race cars in the game.

I didn't upgrade it fully so I was being outdriven hard tbh.
man, there are so many neat cars in NFS:U2 but i use none of them because i don't want to give up my little corolla :v: [t]https://i.imgur.com/G2xgaKk.png[/t] i do have a miata, but... [t]https://i.imgur.com/TxAkmbH.png[/t] "Visual Rating: 3.01" :quotes:
