I already have the game, minus two DLC (which were only never released on PC because???? fuck us I guess?) for like 3 dollars. Now they want us to pay over FOURTY for the same game, which, seemingly, has no actual graphic enhancements whatsoever.

They are still somewhat broken (no events for BSI, no traffic, no Cops&Robbers game mode) so yeah. There still is a point to the remaster, but I gotta say the price point sucks

One of the new cars recently added into GT Sport was the 1997 MR2 GT-S. I put dirt tyres on it, disabled the traction control and took it for a spin around a rally track in VR mode. It was a whole heap of fun, that’s for sure.
They also finally added a league for Vision Gran Turismo cars in career mode. But in classic Polyphony style, they fucked up and didn’t mandate Balance of Performance rules. Combined with the AI already being shit, it was a bit of a letdown.
They actually forgot to make the rival cars more diverse so instead you race the weakest Vision cars while you can use some stronger ones.
Also you can use a SRT Tomahawk in the American Only race, good job PD.

I swear that for every good thing that Polyphony does, they screw up or overlook at least two other things. I’m not sure whether it’s the people in charge of Polyphony being absolutely clueless, or if it’s that uniquely Japanese brand of conservatism at work, and Japanese players actually like it when Polyphony do things which don’t make sense to us westerners.

lmao some people. I just did an online race in GT Sport where at one point someone tried to cut a corner to overtake me, and while doing so they rear-ended my car. After the race finished, keeping in mind that I improved my sportsmanship rating while theirs fell, they had the nerve to tell me that I was racing ‘dirty’.

Imagine doing a one-make 30 laps of Suzuka endurance event, in the 911 GT3 RS and racing against AI. Your car is bog stock despite power and weight adjustments being allowed, so it’s not going to be the easiest race. You slowly work your way up from 20th to 1st, carefully managing fuel and tyres along the way. Until on one of the last corners of the last lap, this shit happens:
