I think I like the concept but the whole "someone lightly touched you so you've gotta wait around for 12 whole seconds doing nothing now" seems like it really ruins the pacing of the game Hopefully they can address that and get you back into the action quicker
https://youtu.be/cxP9kfF1mhQ oh great here's another car that i like so much being JP exclusive goddamnit
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZaXDcbb9HE This Panthera started going fast at mid race and easily overtaking many cars. It started from 18th lap and reached 11th
Coming this week for GT Sport https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/226043/299a753c-2da2-4e05-b1d8-f9e254bbfd9d/5DD04A26-7D88-4974-A948-271A106DDD7D.jpeg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7TyXvDHgYI About time we got a new category. Super GT cars listed as Gr.2! Now please give me DTM and make road cars better classified for Sport racing instead of One Makes.
Despite all shittering on Polyphony, I'm somewhat glad to see that they are steadily pumping out cars/tracks
Haha I called the GT500 Gr.2 thing before the game even launched. DTM cars would also be a natural fit for Gr.2 for obvious reasons. I’m glad to see that they’ve done at least something for VR mode. I would have preferred if they at least added 1v1 against other players online though. Apparently, the reason why we don’t have say N200 or N600 events in Sport mode, as opposed to one-make, has something to do with the FIA certification of the game regarding Balance of Performance. I’ve been wanting it badly too, but yeah.
Oh my god PD. It's a Gr.2 category cars only, why you have to put the Gr.3 in these GT League races, they keep ruining my clean races due how slow they are.
Man, I'd love the current Super GT grid to be fully modelled in a game. Or WEC, or IMSA. Any fully-modelled multiclass championship would be great. I think it'd be a good premise for a game, since it could cover an entire level of progression, from touring cars like in IMSA all the way up to LMP1.
https://wanganmaxi-official.com/wanganmaxi5dxplus/en/event/online/img/004/img_main.jpg money truck's back, get it before it lasts if you're lucky enough
I'm really considering getting a PS4 and membership for GT Sport since I also have a full wheel+gearbox+pedal set, but I need to gather money for college. SIGH.
Like in the real Super GT, the GT500 cars race alongside of GT300 cars, and most GT300 cars are FIA GT3 cars. It’s actually more-realistic like that, than if it were only GT500 cars.

So GT Sport now has the E30 M3 Evo, but they obviously didn’t play test it enough, because the chase camera is literally at bumper level height, so you actually can’t even see anything in front of the car. Lmao. Anyways have my second-most-popular Scapes shot to date: https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/226043/a7f01402-fcfe-493d-a6ef-7f80a8ab5acc/670161A4-FB4C-4C01-8745-F134C39877BC.jpeg
The humble bundle store has some racing deals on, thought this might be of interest to some people.
Grabbed F1 2017 and the AC JDM pack. There's no keys left for the JDM pack though...
Off topic-ish, but you GT Sport guys should find this interesting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59fs_CJDOyY You can watch the first race over on NISMO TV. If you have the time today, I'd recommend catching one of the races from last year on the channel. Should give you an idea of some of the great racing the series has.
Would be nice to see Okayama in GT Sport (along with dozen of tracks...)
https://puu.sh/A0vq9/cc839a7104.bmp So I recently decided to throw Gran Turismo on an emulator, absolute blast. AI are cheating scum when it comes to qualifying though, I'm consistantly 3 secs off pace but when it comes to the race they're suddenly trailing behind me Any other old school racing games I should try again? Have been eyeing up the TOCA series.
How about original Colin McRae Rallies?
GT2 :P If you're looking for arcadey games, the old NFS and Test Drive games are good, Nascar Rumble is a sweet mariokart-like game.
Rush 2049 is an old favorite of mine. Either N64 or Dreamcast.
All top suggestions! Hadnt thought of Dreamcast emulation, loved Metropolis Street Racer back in the day, never played Rush though will have to give it a go
Rollcage is a classic arcade you probably shouldn't miss Flatout 2 is on gog and is arcade must play, Speed busters is an inventive arcade racer with a surprisng ammount of depth also on gog, Screamer and screamer 2 are a ton of fun if you're into older git gud or die trying racers. Rally trophy is a sim-ier rally game with nothing but classic cars, colin mcrae rally 2.0 builds on sega rally sucessfully, sega rally 1 and 2 are also great game you should try dreamcast emulation or arcade machine prefered. If you're looking for pure arcade action Dayona USA and Daytona USA 2 are some of the best arcade racers ever made, crazy taxi and crazy taxi 2 on the dream cast, SCUD race is also a fun racer if you're into licensed cars doing insane things. If you can run ps2 emulation Burnout 3, rally championship evolved, auto modelista and Gran turismo 4 are all solid all rounders that'll keep you busy for a while.
If you have at least a sandybridge i5 or better and a decent GPU from the time or newer I can help you get GT4 running smooth on PCSX2. The only issue I still had is slowdowns in night races with lots of light sources.

Wreckfest got a big update yesterday. It's mostly technical/graphical stuff but there's a feedback survey too if ya wanna give Bugbear some ideas going forward.
Can anyone who owns Project Cars 2 tell me if the AI is more consistent in performance now? Tried the game at a friends place back when it came out but I could absolutely destroy the AI in the rain or some track/car combinations but in some others they would be a couple seconds faster than me(even though I wasn't doing that bad). I just played the demo(is it even up to date?) but I think the AI difficulty is too low to make a proper decision just from there.
I’m gonna get back into PCars 2 soon and see if they’ve fixed the A.I. But I highly doubt it. i really wish that racing games would focus on fewer, smarter A.I. rather than just having as many dumb A.I. racers as possible
Not really, tbh. It's really hard to find the right combination of skill and aggression settings to allow them to be competitive. They also single-file a lot because they're not able to catch each other. Best results I've had have been with the Group C cars at some tracks, where the AI is actually able to challenge each other.
