So, Automation and BeamNG are collaborating so that you're able to export the cars you make into BeamNG. That's what every Automation player has ever wanted; to drive what they make.
My only thought is, How detailed will the physics and deformation convert over to BeamNG. As the vehicles and such in Automation are fairly simple in regards to meshes and such.
Man i was having a blast with Slipstream. Too bad it runs very slow on fullscreen so i need to run windowed but god damn, this game is fun. For 20 bucks it's worth the 4-5 hour fun you can have with it. I just hope it gets more sales so it can help support the dev to add more tracks and cars, since is just one dude
I've done a couple endurance races in rFactor way back. $30 entry fees, some serious prizes for the winners, and let me tell you. That shit will make you SORE My ass hurt, my ankle hurt, my knees didn't want to work. 8 HOURS of non stop racing on road courses is not actually fun at all. And knowing everyone paid money to race and if you slip up and accidentally involve someone in an accident, it would feel terrible
What the fuck, shouldn't there be atleast 2 drivers for 8 hours?
most games dont support multiple drivers though friend bought horizon 3 really fun playing in co-op, is the hot wheels dlc any good?
hot wheels dlc is fun for awhile. the fun does wear off though. the physics can sometimes be a bit wonky too
Assetto Corsa Competizione seems like the racing game I've always wanted. AC never really grew on me, but I love that they're making a very focused game. Helps too that visually it looks incredible.
Yeah sure they don't, but even if sitting behind wheel at home is easier compared to real car experience - 8 hours just seem unhealthy.
From a casual perspective I really hope AC Competizione allows AI in multiplayer sessions, been spoiled by PCARS2 in that regard because it's nice to play with a couple friends and fill the rest of the grid out with AI rather than joining pub servers. AC has the best physics and FFB models for me and I'm a big fan of endurance/GT in general so I'm really excited for it
I wish more racing games were strictly focused. Eg the problem with PCars 2 is that they only attempted to branch out from PCars 1 eg with the seasons system, new cars and new tracks, but they never really got around to solving some of the biggest problems from the first game; terrible AI, terrible public online experience, terrible weather forecast system etc.

Speaking of hyper focused games, Super GT game never.

I'm starting to question the quality of Wreckfest's driving. I did a race with nothing but reliant robins and my car didn't tip over once.

I couldn't get it to flip over either but god damn those weight shiftes suck ass

so wreckfest is good now? someone bought me it years ago and I didn't touch it as there wasn't much to play
It's out of early access. It's a complete game now. I find it very fun, and it's being very positively recieved all around.
It's good but it's laser focused, if all you want is destruction derby racing with accessible driving, that's exactlly what you're getting. Bear in mind the carrer mode is a bit of a slog the money rewards arent enough to buy the garage you want. The AI is at odds with the tag line of the game, if you want to win you have to keep it clean to win, there's 3 tiers of AI, the fast ones always at the front the mid pack boys, and the wrecking retards always at the back and if you want to win you have to race clean. The game expects you to do challenges like "Wreck one opponent" or "cause X ammount" of damage all while racing clean to keep up with the fast boys. But that's just me I want to win and have all the challenges at once.
Even though I'm not sure who asked for it, and even though I really liked the first The Crew, I'm really not liking the second game. Everything about it feels off. It's not any one thing, but a combination of a ton of little things.

the crew 2 defiantly does not feel finished to me. in most places of the map you can find huge errors due to them relying on just replacing old models with new ones and not really thinking about how the terrain has changed

The biggest thing which has made me hate the game is the absolute loss of progression. There's no progression at all anymore. The first game is among my favorites BECAUSE of its sense of progression, both in its dumb story but also in moving across the huge map and unlocking new specs. Now youre just given everything and everything is spread out across the map. There's no incentive or reason to even just cruise around anymore since everything is chucked all over the place you just need to fast travel to everything (which being unlocked from the get go is bullshit.) I have dumped a number of hours now into the beta but I just can't see myself playing the game for much longer than I have now. I even have people to play it with but without PVP there's no reason to play with them. They had such a good thing going with the first game, especially at the end of its updates.
I got back into Gran Turismo 3 yesterday. Did two of the 2 hour endurance races - didn’t win the Formula One car in either
I hated how GT3 gave you a random car from a pack of 4. Just watching the silhouette of the one you want scoot right past
It’s even worse in GT Sport. Each time, there’s going to be one really shit road car, two race cars and a Vision Gran Turismo car. But 90% of the time, it’s going to select the shit road car. Which is usually a Mazda Atenza (Mazda 6) or Hyundai Genesis coupé. Honestly I would much rather that the game didn’t give you any prize cars at all.
