might it be in one of the boxes in the OP?
yeah i did, it's the first thing

the link died relatively recently too but i found it on a russian filesharing site
TIL: there is a variant of the OGSE engine that is currently being worked on for x64 support and optimization as part of the (now apparently canceled?) OGSR project.
GitHub
I just built the 64-bit build for myself and threw it in with OGSE 0693 2.10R and it seems to be working so far. Pretty neat stuff.
Don't forget this: GitHub
Their page is down, no idea how long it's been that way either. So perhaps OGSR is cancelled.
Which is a shame because, as much as I hate OGSE, and with as many times as I've had to restart due to some stupid bug, OGSE is by far my favorite mod across any Stalker game. Really feel like its one of the few mods that truly enhances the Stalker atmopshere without just cheap de-saturation filters. The translation is rough at times, but its got a good charm to it, and I also really think the gunplay is satisfying, though I wouldn't mind it if the weapons did more damage (one of the edits I made to my own OGSE, on top of a few other things).
It's currently a huge inspiration for what I'm working for with my mod, both in the sense of an enhanced Stalker atmosphere with new stuff to do and new mechanics, but also a reminder to not have downright shitty quest scripting at times that forces you to do something so specific without telling you, and forcing you to restart the entire game after getting 75% completed.
Yeah, already got that.
I have to translate some changes but it's all working pretty well.
That's very clearly Sidorovich.
The plugins were the absolute bane of our life, you literally need them :/
Didn't we get it to work in Maya 2012 or something a little more recent, though?
Updating MIU:.
This will be included in version 1.1:

Trying to find a solution for the transparency, feels so 'busy'

Using this currently in my "soup", as I like the overall style even though I think it needs some work. Namely, I removed the shadowed person behind the armor equipment slots because I think it makes that area look a bit too busy. Also, those lighter-grey panels behind the main panels on both the left and right looks out of place, not sure why they're there. Also, not sure if you saw my last post torwards you, and sorry to pester you if you did, but add me at:
https://steamcommunity.com/id/wepl
if you're at all interested in working with me and @Theman! and doing some GUI texturing.
Also, @Lyokanthrope , add me as well if you're interested (not in GUI, in something else)
I'm not sure what I could contribute but sure , I'll add ya.
I added you. We'll see where things go
Playing Call of Pripyat. Why are all the sights misaligned? They were aligned correctly in the first game.
While a fantastic question I'm not sure it's one we can answer...
Regardless, there's a fix here.
Hm.
Swartz is working with the X-Ray oxygen guys...supposedly.
https://github.com/xrOxygen/xray-oxygen/issues/137
While I do respect the guy, I've noticed a repeating history of him talking a lot but not really delivering anything to the community. I hope he follows through with this with more than just words and screenshots for once.
He's done a lot, actually. But not everything he's done is public.
That's what I mean though - I've barely seen anything since the old CoP Swartz mod that's public. Just nothing but screenshots and vague statements about what he's done.
Sadly it doesn't work for me and I can't find anything about actually getting it to work on a 16:9 monitor.

Is it normal for OLR to have swarms of dogs/mutants trying to fuck your life up? I dropped by the garbage hangar to find the Spiral artifact and investigate the dead soldiers there and this fucking swarm of 30 dogs tried to tear me to shreds.
Just began a run of stalkersoup again since I got bored just waiting for incursion to start. Finished up clearing the cordon and beat off the bandits at bes's outpost. Just as fun as I remember it to be.
It is.
OLR is still Русский difficulty like tons of other Russian mods
Yeah I could tell by the Hind gunship smashing me in the face with a rocket as I was talking to Toad about getting the umpteenth briefcase. In a bunker.
It's just a confirmation sorta thing, no reason to hype it up yet if there's little to show at all.
Hype kills games. Let's not do that to our beloved STALKER 2.
I finished Call of Pripyat. It was pretty good, not quite as strong as SoC but much better than CS. I managed to get through the Jupiter underground and evacuation with everyone alive. I only had to reload once because Kirilov managed to grenade himself, rather than just shooting the zombie 5 metres in front of him.
The lack of an extended complex like SoC had kind of bummed me about both sequels, since pushing through the CPP or the Labs were great tense experiences. Big open fields with mostly clear sight lines make it quite hard to be caught unaware.
Anyone got a link to SGM 2.2? The one on ModDB is corrupted apparently.
Also, what's the difference between 2.2 and Lost Soul?
Personally I'll believe it when I see it. I wouldn't put a cashgrab past sergei.
Its hard to keep hype over just site with "Stalker 2" text, and its hard to be excited about team/development that is behind it, or rather lack of informations about it...
This is not Half-Life 3 that have 100 years old experience in being in frozen stage where people write scientific articles in ""Popular Science"" magazines and tell stories about it from generation to generation :P
It was vaguely confirmed without any real evidences that its actually in development, I can bet that they are still in preparing project.
Also dont forget that Stalker is not big game, its well known, but its not big, for most of people it was just like: "cool, another game coming. Next news". We sit in Stalker world so for us its big news but for others it just announcement of another post-apo game...
