S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Series Megathread: Maybe someday mods releasing edition - Games

Back in 2009 was my first deployment to Iraq. I picked up this game before I left. Any chance I got, I would play STALKER(as well as Fallout 3). It was a good stress reliever/fun game back then and still is now. In other news, while playing some CoC I scored a pristine Groza, SVD, and VSS in Darkscape just now. :D

God, I remember being [I]super[/I] hyped for the game and bought it the day it came out from Gamestop :v: I had a collection of old builds even then. I even already had a grasp of the console thanks to the multiplayer betas. God, modding was almost better back then. More primitive. All.spawn edits were done purely through acdc.pl, we didn't have the SDK. Mods like AMK 1.4 were king. I should go back and play through AMK 1.4 again sometime.

Has anyone tried any of the Full A-Life unlockers for CoC/CoM? I was thinking of trying it but was worried it'd make things too crazy to have a fully offline Zone going on around me.

If it is in similar vein to how Warfare goes about it. It's worth it, mayhem occurs now and then, but generally it keeps it fresh and keeps you on your toes.

I think that is due to it being a very smart terrain heavy area and a key point between areas. Well kind of. I pass it off as it being such a big hit of activity that it just attracts a lot of mutant and stalker attention.

probably an issue with the lighting settings in your user.ltx, theres a guide somewhere on the moddb on how to change it

I have no idea if that'd even be possible but it would be a great way to add a little multiplayer flavor to the game without needing to be true cooperative stalker like ROH

I fixed it. Just took another user.ltx from pirate version and replaced. Works fine..

CRC will not have any gameplay effects.

As a worst case it could just be only between players you choose directly so you could make sure to trade with friends you know have the same setup, but yeah that would be a pretty big issue.

Is there a way to get Ukrainian voices and English subtitles in ShoC? There was an old guide on the steam community but it's gone now.

I'm loving that chat addon for CoC. Azazel Ironman + a full alife mod and the fact that player deaths pop up like dynamic news makes it feel like some weird STALKER MMO
