SoC Complete - Pretty good, not annoying, fix lots of bugs, Easy for players who played it before, medium for new players. Recommended for everyone who want to just walk around and enjoy atmosphere without focusing too much on survival aspect of game. CS Complete - Bugged as default one, but fix few things that can bother players. Can be recommended for people who know stalker but want to "just play" without problem(still can expect CS typical crashes). CoP Complete - Bugged crap. The End. For people who want to start playing SoC, I would recommend Radiophobia, amazing mod, with lots of stuff, better graphic, new missions and locations that still keep game similar to original. It have tendency to crash, but its worth trying. For people who want to start CS, I would recommend Default CS, its not that bad as people like to say it. It have its moods, and can lag/crash, but honestly games like fallout 4 crash and lag more often than CS. For people who want to play CoP, I would recommend... fixing your own mod on top of default, few graphic addons, some simple weapon addon, some AI/stuff modifications, and you are ready to play deafult CoP but better looking and not so empty and boring. This is what I think about complete series and what new players should play first.

SoC complete changes balance too much in the player's favor and changes certain mechanics which can distort people's view of the game. It also introduces a handful of new bugs and is woefully out of date to the current ZRP. As for Radiophobia, as much as I like mods based on RMA (I consider RMA 1.1.5 to be a nearly 'definitive' SoC vanilla-like experience) it still changes the base game and its balance far too much...I believe it's still always best to have players play vanilla SoC, maybe with ZRP, first before touching other stuff. It helps one appreciate the game's modding community and understand base mechanics far better. For CS Complete, nah. Same issue as SoC complete in fucking with balance and generally being outdated. Just use the Sky Reclamation Project. CoP Complete - yeah, pretty accurate. CoP is pretty solid gameplay wise out of the box other than looking a little ugly. Install AF3, SRAP2, and a texture pack of one's choice and it's good.
CoC stashes are surprisingly rewarding: [t]https://i.imgur.com/ZD7COsx.jpg[/t] Last time I was lucky to find an entire exoskeleton in a stash: [t]https://i.imgur.com/QDWLBtV.jpg[/t]
Lucky. All I ever find is sausages and energy drinks.
I just say that its my opinion, no one need to agree with it :] I think that SoC Complete is pretty good for casual play, just like I wrote:
Recommended for everyone who want to just walk around and enjoy atmosphere without focusing too much on survival aspect of game.
Sometimes I really like to just walk around maps, especially when I get some nice looking mod or modified A-life, dont tell me that none of you like that and you all play stalker in hardcore mode just to get owned every 5 second and make 1000 quick saves, because you get horny after that... :P As for Radiophobia, I found out that it have best balance between hardness and fun. You get nice gameplay, nice graphic, some addons and most important you still get proper stalker atmosphere... Lets get be real here, we like how normal SoC look and work, but new players have their needs, and Radiophobia put in SoC most of is needed in game to enjoy it. Because this is most important right? Have nice gameplay and atmosphere.

CoC is Explore the Zone: A STALKER Experience.
I somehow managed to die horribly from a simple 8-foot fall, despite falling 20 stories in STALKER before, eating a sausage and being fine afterwards. Thanks OGSE

I randomized and got Duty and literally the only people not actively trying to kill us are Bandits, who we have a full on alliance with :v:
No, it doesn't, because that was never the case in any of the games.
Protection from one shot kills, that should be on by default. Nothing more annoying than getting aimbotted from a guy in a bush across the map.
Oh man, this should be thrown into the OP. The myths of how STALKER's difficulty works are kind of annoying :v:
so it shall be
It certainly sounds like you want to play Call of Chernobyl as loner or something. I wonder what happened to GUNSLINGER.
CoC stashes are surprisingly rewarding:
Now compare that with the stashes i'm finding in Call of misery, where you're lucky if you find a dead battery, wet underwear and a porno magazine worth 500 rubles.

I found a stash in CoC that was just two patches, that's it. Just a Loner patch and a Monolith patch.

Lmao I hate the Misery loading screen tips
After about 12 hours of gameplay I am loving the first of this series, I still find following the tasks a little difficult I seem to have tasks all over the map and only a few days of in game time to complete them, if I have completed a task within the time limit do I also have to hand it in within the time limit?

This litterally sums up my experience quiet nicely. Seriously every gun fight outside was like that, It got to the point where I was consciously keeping myself in the open, in full view of the AI so as to bait them into shooting me instead of lobbing a nade at my head. Essentially I was playing fucking hopscotch everytime I wanted to reload, advoiding cover like it was infested with the plague. That and the faction war broke with both the Loners and Duty meaning I could not complete either of them. That and Bleeding in CS is like Malaria in FarCry2 I mean Sure I beat Clear Sky on master in vannilla, and truth be told It didnt give me a hard time at any point, but the crucial fact is I did not enjoy playing through it that much, if I was to give it a rating and im being generous it's a 6/10. Thankfully I played it again straight after with ZRP using the no grenade spam and a Cordon LMG turret fix and actually had an enjoyable experience to rival Vanilla SoC / CoP.

Sometimes I really love Warfare but then sometimes I get within ten feet of the Freedom base and they declare war on me.
whenever i try to install CoP on steam it gets to about 10% then slows to ~100 kb/s this is the only game in my library that seems to be doing it too, anyone ever experience this?
I don't get how Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat managed to fuck up enemy grenades so badly when ShoC mods that implemented AI grenade throwing did it really well and as far as I know mainly with restored code.
