The game has 0 stutter, loads quickly and the squad management mechanics are great. Is there a tutorial out there for scripting? I would like to make something related to the in game economy.

Make tons of pictures, starting from panoramas ending in walls and decals on floor/wall :D I could use some real Pripyat/Chernobyl textures in my mod :yarr: Also super pro tip: Even in Europe/US people find new species every week, but there is 1000% bigger chance to find new species of bugs in area of Chernobyl and Pripyat, so make sure that you take picture of every bug you find, and take note where you find it. Even if for normal eye bug is big, there is HUGE chance that you can encounter some new species and you will have right to name it :cat: Just find some dude(taxonomists) make a deal that he will get right to publish it, but you choose a name. He will deal with actual paper work and checking if its new :D This is actual tip from my friend who study biology, and he seriously encourages everyone to send him pictures of every animal and bug with location of it, because even in the middle of big city you can find something new, and areas around Pripyat can have some new species, because not of radiation but sudden changes of environment(from populated area to empty place). Just imagine that someday there will be spider living in empty building in Pripyat called "checki brecki Araneae" :class:

idk if I ever asked but will there ever be a fix for text scaling at high dpi in coc? maybe its juts a side effect of dsr but whenever im supersampling all the text is half sized. To be honest, while I totally understand a desire for more cool guns I think one thing the game needs is more ways of interacting with the world around you - in all three Stalker games the player is pretty heavily constrained - movement is restricted and stealth is pretty broken compared to what people are used to. I'd be interested in seeing a Stalker thematically closer to the movie, where weapons are less sophisticated, more common, and there's a tradeoff to be made between the protection a weapon can grant vs the potential negative attention it can draw...
i would gladly accept like three or four weapons to each type if it meant a shift away from arbitrary damage and RoF values, and towards more tangible stuff like weapon length and unique design flaws

A-life make it more realistic especially with animals behavior, but some places, especially CoP maps are just bad made. Zaton and Jupiter are just big maps with random buildings in few spots that dont make any sense. They lack any way to interact with game world. I know that game maps were not made to be "live" like AI, but even few more movable objects, more open buildings to enter and interactive elements would make it WAY better, giving more ways to play it(new spots to snipe, new places to search, new places for random encounters with eg chimera that block your way out from building). Also there should be more stalker AI random behaviors, because right now in open space they just walk without a reason, and in camp site they just sit... and nothing more. There should be more random events like stop on the road to sit on road barier to take a smoke, events where two stalkers drink and fight each other with a fist until one get down wounded, or events where stalker go hunt for flesh or boar. Those small things make game more alive, because right now only animals actually behave realistic.
The buildings in CoP where made to interact with some quests. Literally, there is no building/area if I recall correctly that is NOT used for a quest. The sandbags, old wagons, boxes, planks, just general trash that you'd expect to see.

Working on my first play through of OGSE and I've searched every map pre-red forest for high and low for artifacts and I still don't have as many as I would like. Do the blowouts/psi-surges cause artifacts to respawn or am i out of luck? I also found that you can lure mutants through the right anomalies and if they die due to the anomaly it produces an artifact. So far I found two: Fruit Bath - Boar = Slime Electro - Izlom = Battery Does anyone know of anymore? I couldn't find any other answers online. EDIT: 0693 for reference
