0692 or 0693?
I dont think those are the same building.
Edit
Weird, so it is the building, but just super inaccurate.

Not an exact replica obviously, but it's got the sticking-out bit, the walkway with the columns, the grid windows, and the raised walk in front. Seems like more than a coincidence to me.
I would have never expected what looks like an ISU-152 to be in the zone.
It actually looks like its in pretty good condition as well, could probably be restored.

I imagine it is irradiated and will never be restored
Unless the steel is neutron activated a thorough washing and sand blasting after disassembly will get rid of most of it, which will have to happen anyways to get rid of the rust.
Working on my first play through of OGSE and I've searched every map pre-red forest for high and low for artifacts and I still don't have as many as I would like. Do the blowouts/psi-surges cause artifacts to respawn or am i out of luck?
I also found that you can lure mutants through the right anomalies and if they die due to the anomaly it produces an artifact. So far I found two:
Fruit Bath - Boar = Slime
Electro - Izlom = Battery
Does anyone know of anymore? I couldn't find any other answers online.
EDIT: 0693 for reference
Weird. I could swear I managed to find many artifacts in my playthrough. Even though, the artifacts you get from anomalies are very crappy and don't net that much cash. You are better off doing side quests and then grabbing the artifacts other characters give you. Of consideration is the one you can nab after doing a 1-on-1 arena fight.
What do You guys think about Stalker-themed Majesty-like game/mod?

I think you've had enough of Beard's Tea for one evening.
Well, I don't see anything wrong with this. I think it's good combination. Hero Guilds/Stalker Quarters, Marketplace/General Store with medkits, bandages, drugs etc. Blacksmith/Store with weapons and armor.
Basically players would start in a camp filled with NPCs ( guards, workers etc. ) that also their own business ( resting, gambling, talking and shit like that ) , but they mainly stick in the base. So, players would have to expand the camp and train Stalkers, there would professions like soldiers that are specialized in fighting other Stalkers and destroying structures like mutant nests. Hunters that like to explore the map and got bonus damage against mutants. They would form a squads, mostly with the Stalkers with same profession and wander around map freely, hunting, looting stashes. Players could set bounties and shit.
Actually it sounds like really bad reskin of the Majesty, haha.
Does anyone have an issue with SoC crashes their display driver? It was fine up until like 10 hours in, no idea what has started causing it, it recovers fine then runs again but becomes more frequent after time.
EDIT: 0693 for reference
Judging from the scripts, there are no preset combinations; valid anomalies just have a certain chance to spawn artifacts from their family any time a mutant dies in them.
Is there a mod that bumps up A-Life by a crazy amount? I'm talking large battles between humans and mutants happening almost constantly across the Zone at any given time, just to give it the most hectic feeling as possible.
One of my best experiences in any of the games was when I was forced to hold out at the substation near Zaton against an emission, like 15 fleshes, 10 boars, a couple bloodsuckers, and roughly five or so controllers. Shit was too nuts not to want to have happen again.
Sorry if old but....

I'm surprised that this mod have no attention, Stalkers are best known for their random and unpredictable events which this mod turn up to 11.
Never managed to reach past bridge in Cordon. Tried to take a nap on ATP. First time there were 3 electro chimeras fighting with Duty and Clear Sky forces. Next one was zombie forces that covered entire ATP surrounded by 3 squads of five Freedomers and next nap ended with emission that killed nobody outside and turned Marked One into ragdoll mode.
Is this normal?

With addon Warfare... Yes it is normal, its called "default CoC spawn settings meet warfare spawn setting" :sex101:
You can remove it by lowering spawn of mutants and spawn radius in settings and modify Warfare options to smaller groups.
Warfare is really amazing, but it need some configurations to be playable without orgies like that.

Nooooooooooo WTF I was doing an Ironman run with a merc character. Everything was great. I had my own hit squad. I gave them a lot of ammo and AS VAL for each one. I enter Limansk to go into the Red Forest...and there were some fucking mines in front of a jeep!!
:why:

Even if you hadn't played Clear Sky, how could you not notice the little neon lines sticking out of the ground?

It looks awesome, it will work only on maps from CS, or You're gonna set up smart covers on other maps too?

Nice one mate, great to see it back. Looks like they're pretty damn accurate though considering they're basically blind-firing?
Is there any way to make them fire at your last known position when playing that blindfire anim? Or maybe tank their accuracy?
Oh men... its like a dream.
Now all we need is ammo limits, and some proper usage of open world(read: enemy dont just sit in one place firing 1000 mags, it run away and attack you from behind/sides)
Does anyone know the names of the song played in the Duty base in Clear Sky with Arsenal Overhaul?

This was one of my favorite features from Clear Sky, glad to see it make it into CoC!

lmao it's not like an atomic bomb went off over the city, what little tertiary reactive processes persisted in fuel and coolant ejecta wouldn't generate enough high energy neutrons to activate concrete structures via proximity. Literally direct sunlight has a greater chance to activate matter than just being *near* a nuclear plant steam explosion. All in all you could pretty much live in Pripyat today and suffer no ill effects unless you manage to find a patch of algae or animals that have served as an impressively long-lived bioaccumulation point for the few types of ejected daughter isotopes that might actually still be harmful (would probably hinder reproduction so unlikely)

There is already an ammo limit?
Alundaio, would it be possible with this restored cover logic to implement a command that tells my squad to stay nearby me or in the place I command them to? Its awful to put them on defense, stealth and in wait mode only to see them slowly scurry away from cover towards their death on open grounds.

yeah, there's a lot of myths about what radiation does to people/things floating around, but both the physical principles and the data gathered by researchers on the ground suggest that these days it's not having much of an impact on life
This animation is from Ha_ru and my god, it is unbelievable.

I hate games that have you pull the M4's charging handle that way. It doesn't work that way at all, it's like the original SHoC animations where you operate the AK bolt between two fingers

I actually find pulling the charging handle like that more comfortable than hooking my fingers over it
