It straight up does not work with any milspec rifle I've handled, the charging handle is rather loosely fitted and ends up binding inside its channel & refuses to move if you only pull from one side. Dunno about aftermarket or commercial spec stuff.
it's like the original SHoC animations where you operate the AK bolt between two fingers
Trigger warning

I'm about to start my first playthrough of the series ever. My friend used to play it at release and i had a passing interest in trying it, but other games were out at the same time... I've been hearing a lot of stuff about the difficulty setting issues, crashing and bugs. Especially that Clear Sky is essentially fucked to hell and back. The OP clearly states to play vanilla for the first playthrough, but to hell with that. I absolutely want to experience the vanilla story, atmosphere and combat. But i'm not interested in dealing with what is clearly fundamental design errors, bugs and bullshit. Can anyone recommend a good "vanilla" set-up for SoC that preserves as much of the experience as possible while dealing with the harsher problems the game has? I'm only gonna be playing each game once. I want it to kick my ass, chew me and spit me out. I'm not asking for a streamlined experience, just not one that is as fucked as everyone seems to say it can get. For reference, i looked at Mandalores review of Call of Chernobyl mod and he had an increased weapon damage mod going and something that increased the "feel" of the guns. Sorry for asking. I looked through the OP and the chart didn't really have anything that on the surface seems to do this and whatever the different mod pack links lead to are now downed sites.
I've also read some recommendations for Stalker Complete 2009. Other people call it cancer.
Complete changes combat balance. Just go with the ZRP, it's all bugfixes + QOL improvements that retain vanilla balance, gameplay, etc.
ZRP - Zone Restoration Project for Shadow of Chernobyl SRP - Sky Reclamation Project for Clear Sky Nothing for Call of Pripyat
I've also read some recommendations for Stalker Complete 2009. Need some advise from you. I still work on new textures for Stalker Two-K(slower than I wanted...) and I have some problems with... Rocks, that have the same problem I fight for beginning of making those textures... crappy model texturing(read: stretched, cropped image like HERE or model it self...) Rock use seamless square textures, but still their models are not really... good made, my problem is not that visible with default low resolution texture because its nothing more than big blob of some colors, and everything is hidden behind fake details, but with anything that is bigger and have its own proper details... you have this problem in rocks: CLICK(image is big and I cant see "spoiler" option in forum settings) Even if textures is seamless model it self have seams... VERY visible if textures is more complex. :/ I spend all my free day today making few new rock textures, starting from really flat one to even more complex thinking it will hide those lines, but nope. They are still there if they are not blurred low-res blobs. So I decided to give up. I cant win that fight unless someone have better idea how to hide those model seam lines. Now because of that I decided to choose two best textures from those few and ask you with one is better: More complex brown one, or simpler one that sadly expose those seams more... I've actually come to realize that OGSE uses assests from that Paranoia 1/2 half-life mod, and also vice-versa. What the heck, these are neat coincidences
Trigger warning
Another thing to rant on about Misery. Lots of guns guns with lackluster asset quality. Instead of fewer polished ones. And the addon that fixes that takes a long time to come out since its devs though it to be a good idea to add even more guns.
With look better?
I definitely prefer A, but honestly they both feel over-detailed to me. I like the rock on the left in the second shot the best, it's nice and muted without any dramatic color changes. It's ok for a rock to be boring.
Love me some good ol' CoC from time to time
Its so crappy and bad made... but still every time when I look at it put a weird smile on my face...
Summer in the Zone brings more changes than just flowers it seems :v: (I didn't even notice the bags or the rain oh god)
Why is it raining the hammer and sickle? Why are the sandbags mad of lays bags? So many questions unaswered.
Why is it raining the hammer and sickle? Why are the sandbags mad of lays bags? So many questions unaswered.
at least there are burly leather clad men to guide you through your confusion
The slav wizardry has gone too far
Why is it raining the hammer and sickle? Why are the sandbags mad of lays bags? So many questions unaswered.
Its from one of those weird/funny mods: Get Out Of Here Stalker - The Great Communism and Stalin I actually posted one video from it few weeks ago: https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1553642&p=52716514&viewfull=1#post52716514 Overall you are communist fighting with nazi soldiers with light saber and other weapons. Its not complicated mod but it have lots of small stuff that put smile on your face :] It have lots of Polish jokes and voices so I dont think people would enjoy it too much, even if its 100% playable, but if anyone interested: source
https://t.co/vFBKp3Oimz Survarium PvE is out - it's gated behind PvP and Microtransactions.

To begin a mission special Access Keys are required. The keys are divided in free and premium. One free key is awarded for each of the first 2 wins in PvP matches daily (so you can get maximum 2 keys daily), and you cannot own more than 2 free keys. Premium keys can be bought in the shop. Your keys never expire and the free keys are always used first. To start a mission you need to spend one Access Key for each person. You can pay for yourself, and also for one or both allies. The mission is designed for a squad of three players. However, you can start it solo or with a friend, but you need to block the rest of the spots: pay for another one (if you go duo) or for two other people (if you go solo).
fuck this shit
Wow, and the playercount for this thing probably doesn't get higher than the low hundreds. That's like shooting yourself in the foot.
