Im almost 30 years old but If I would knew that there would be model of building like that nothing would stop me from getting bunch of action-men toys and play with them on it whole day... :yarr:
Wood panel walls, definitely the 80s :v:
There were like 2-3 project to make STALKER on CryEngine, one is Noise of the Zone mentioned above and other is CryZone 23. About strategy/tactical STALKERs... well, there is Z.O.N.A., other was Doomed to Death (edgy) or other one or 2 scrapped project(s) that name(s) I forgot might be this Men of War mods have notorious drop ratio, new MoW games have faster release rate than any mod for MoW itself. Or play Marauder - Man of Prey which is nice tactical scavenging game but in different apocalypse scenario (closer to Mad Max1 from 1979 where everything is going down the toilet) with no paranormal stuff. It's for a dollar on Steam sales.
Hello Do you think it's possible to play it ,as I saw the mod is archived? http://www.moddb.com/mods/men-of-war-stalker-mod-beta
So I feel like I saw something about this before but now that I've actually started playing again, I can't find it. Is there any sort of console command to make ragdolls fly back a little bit less when I kill an enemy? It's a minor thing but I'm never really a fan of just about every person I kill trying to do a backflip.

can we get more of this PLEASE
So I feel like I saw something about this before but now that I've actually started playing again, I can't find it. So I was thinking that I'd perhaps try to get into COC again since I have a new processor and double the RAM since last time. I go to browse addons for it and the first thing I see is Original Guns Reanimated along with this fucking picture:
Are there any good mods that add new (or cut) mutants? I remember playing Narodnaya Solyanka mod, which was pretty confusing. Couldn't finish the main plot.
Are there any good mods that add new (or cut) mutants? I remember playing Narodnaya Solyanka mod, which was pretty confusing. Couldn't finish the main plot.
CoC has the cut mutants, but to be honest the cut mutants like the Fractures are kinda shitty.
The cats are the worst, all they do is run around making the ai angry and eat 1000 bullets

Anyone know why textures water_ryaska1 or water_studen in gamedata/textures/water dont use their bumpmaps in game? thm files even by default are good with proper paths to _bump files but no matter what game I try(coc, cop, soc) game use just diffuse textures :/ Also does decal textures are limited to DXT1?

is the latest Reshade incompatible with Call of Chernobyl or something? it won't work at all for me
Are there any mods that can improve how the games run? I can run them, but it isn't perfect. Also any suggestions for mods I should use that won't impact my performance too much?
is the latest Reshade incompatible with Call of Chernobyl or something? it won't work at all for me
make sure the api you choose matches whichever engine you choose within stalker, and make sure youre putting the files in the bin folder with xr3da.exe that said i know for a fact that reshade 2 works so if nothing else you could try that
Are there any mods that can improve how the games run? I can run them, but it isn't perfect.
Shaders MAX with the Full Performance preset should improve performance for SoC and CS.
If that doesn't seem to cut it, it may be a CPU performance limitation and the only other option would be to close all other programs (to reduce overhead) or overclocking.
Shaders MAX with the Full Performance preset should improve performance for SoC and CS.
Oh man, the game went from running okay-ish to running perfectly fine. I appreciate the suggestion cause it's definitely helped.
is the latest Reshade incompatible with Call of Chernobyl or something? it won't work at all for me
I found that SMAA and SSAO are broken because it can't properly access the colour or depth buffers. FXAA works fine however, as do the simpler post-processing effects that don't require a particular image buffer.

Just finished watching really nice Documentary "Chernobyl's Café" that I didnt knew is existing :/ Recommend to see, even if its not really anything new. Its just nice, slow and calm how its look today. But its hard to get it beside amazon video(just 3 bucks to rent) or iTunes/Google Play Movies.

the part where the narrator complained about weight limits while carrying 94 bandages riled me a little
the part where the narrator complained about weight limits while carrying 94 bandages riled me a little
True. I also love what narrator mention: people, especially those who reviews games in bigger magazines/sites, that are trying to find some hidden, deep meaning behind game elements. They seriously need to see how game development is actually work, because for most of time, most of elements that are in game, are made because accident/result of other bug fix or it was just random idea that fitted to game better than original project, and you just move along with it hoping it will work. Its especially visible in teams like GSC: Lots of fresh ideas, lots of deadlines. Its all look like proper project but in reality its all chaotic, you have 10000 elements and you need just pick few and ducktape them together, and at the end, by the power of magic, you end with something that actually is working :D

I can't get over how this sounds like some National Geographic documentary with the deep baritone overly dramatic narration.
