I always like to look at the Zone realistically, which means probably a lot less fighting a lot more wandering around wishing you weren't there / dying in an artifact field.

We should be thankful for NOT having full realizm, because you know... someone have to do the laundry, wash socks and pants, remind everyone to close the toiled flap after using it...
Just imagine when you start the game and for first hours you need to clean the dishes in bar to get money... :happy:
Also if we talk about this ship wall, in my mod I tried to stick to original textures, but do you thing that I should remove those cables?
Because now when I see DonKnotts version its dont look that bad if its more simple than default :/

There is Oblivion Lost for Fallout2 but it's not that impressive compared to other mods like Olympus 2077 or Fallout Nevada.

Ironically I switched to static lighting so I could at least get the baked shadows, dynamic sun shadows don't work at this distance.

No, it's 5 fov from this far away. Isometry on a budget.
LE doesn't have a parallel projection mode as far as I know, but I could be wrong.

I love isometric shots like that, really makes me wish more games were still made from that perspective. You could probably thumb the pictures though, so they stretch the page a bit less.

I was thinking the same thing, oddly also reminds me of the sims.
New community project - take a bunch of hires shots like this, stitch em together in a game engine that can do it, bam we got Fallout: STALKER

Could probably make some kind of game from that. Only issue is that you'd need to make a background without the buildings to be able to get that transparent view when characters hide behind stuff.
Or we can just modify somehow 3rd person view to be far away, fix wall clipping(because now camera just move through everything) fix flashlight and aim indicator and we can have something like that, 3D RPG with rotating camera :D

Honestly the STALKER devs did such a good job on detailing the maps.
