Everyone should care about Lost Alpha, it has the most heart warming ending I've ever seen in any video game.

Don't forget the shaders folder from the [B]res\gamedata[/B] in the repo and to clear shader cache.

I love the 'why won't this damn thing work' part of the animation. art imitating life...
Is it possible that somebody on the gunslinger team is actually ex 4A or has worked in some metro 2033 game? Because the quality and the way they do things reminds me a lot of hand anims in metro.
After taking a break from stalker I feel like coming back again, I already ran coc+AO, I feel like doing something different this time, but I don't know that many stalker mods.
Also, steam overlay doesn't work with coc so I'm having a hard time configuring my steam controller.

That's a cool idea to make it work progressively worse. Could end up with some interesting situations where you're looking for shelter too late and your PDA freaks out.

Funny thing is, Radium has had this feature [URL="http://www.moddb.com/mods/ultimate-weapon-renewal/videos/underground-surge#imagebox"]for quite some time now[/URL]. Sadly we never had the means to do it like Gunslinger team does, though!
I would love to see a combination of the 2 one day, if Radium ever releases.

Gunslinger, borrow ideas? No that can't possibly be. That handheld flashlight for example, nobody ever did that before right? RIGHT? Oh that's right, we did it in 2013 in Misery. Hopefully, they actually share code if they did end up doing engine changes.
The art of modding is using (existing) ideas and improve upon them, heh.
I wish for the same, Alun. Some seriously impressive stuff for a team saying they are using "no modified engine".

It is impossible. They have at the very least, hacked dlls like Shoker, and even then Shoker for 3.0 is using engine source code which leads me to believe that Gunslinger does too since they are apparently sharing similar concepts, like real scopes and weapon addon groups. I been meaning to ask him about it but he has been missing for 2 weeks.

Did you select Release/Win32 for the solution?
What are the errors?
You need VS2013 and if you use VS2015 do not upgrade the projects.

Seemed to be failing to build some of the 3rd party libs, libtheora in particular - missing some libs? I fixed it by downloading the sources for it manually and copying them into the sdk/include folder.

Okay, forced volumetric lights on the head torch and it creates a [I]lot[/I] of issues with light flickering when there's too many lit at once. Oh well.
I always wondered what STALKERs light limit was. Are you able to limit how many are volumetric at once?
Is there a COM mod that adds guides?

You still have old files in gamedata. Delete gamedata then install the addons again.

Had a crazy bug in CoC.
Looked in PDA stats and saw the top 4 slots belonged to wolf. As in 1-4 were all independent wolf npcs followed by 5 barkeeps.
Walked into Rostok from Garbage and my framerate drops to about 15 fps along with the sounds of excessive gunfire. Somehow there's around 100 or more npcs in rostok including many MANY copies of important npcs like Voronin and Barkeep. Most of the copies are just sat on the floor across the whole level.

Tried interacting with them, they all give the proper dialogue and give quests but have no inventory. No crashes so far.
I'm kind of terrified of what else might be happening in other levels but I wanna see how far this goes and how bad it botched the game.
