Cave isn't so bad once you know the way, Up the thing, take a left, take a right, go through the exit on the back right in the big room with the anomaly in the middle, down the thing, and finally throw a bolt an the electro anomalies jump though and sell all the mutant parts for cheese money Bob's your uncle
I had more of a problem with shitton of mutants, especially those that located me from the other end of the map.
I'm supposed to pick up some freedomer's drugs from the clear sky base but random individual clear sky members are hostile to me and if I shoot back it turns the entire faction hostile??? (Last Day mod)
Tried re-entering the map?
No I just killed them all, I don't like clear sky anyway, but now I can't pick up the drugs because the trader is dead. argh
Is Dushman in Dead City meant to have no trading stock? He shows as trader, but seems to have nothing to sell. What Merc character would have trading stock?
This is a 1.5-specific bug that can occur to any of the traders (i believe). Had it happen to both the freedom and duty traders during my current playthrough. I think you can solve it by map transitioning away and back again, though I haven't tested that out as i just left and went elsewhere when it happened to me.

On a CoC related note, anyone else annoyed that the mercs never seem to actually enter the building across from base? They just seem to get stuck in the door while veritable waves of hostile stalkers fill up the building every time i come back to Dead City.

For all accounts the mercs should steamroll the bandits, but considering they just sit around constantly aggro'd yet don't move anywhere the bandits peep around corners and kill them all the time.
Anyone try STALKER The Last Days for CoC? I've been enjoying it so far, feels like a more up to date Call of Misery with a lot less BS deaths. Seems a lot more modular too since everything's newer and better organized.

A merc was playing the harmonica, I was down below chilling and selling. And all of a sudden, a gunshot rang out from across the square and the playing cut off abruptly. Everyone flips their shit in base, I just calmly take out my AVT-40, return fire with a single shot, and all was well again.

It feels nice and the developer engages with the ModDB community frequently, implementing a lot of mods with creator permissions n shit. Well built imo

It's not quite as tough as straight out of the box Misery. So far I haven't actually died that much, and I used the numerous addons to make things a little easier economy-wise. It's biggest strength right now I think is you can adjust most things pretty freely to make it as hard or easy as you want, while still retaining that Misery feel.
Try this if you haven't already http://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-last-day/addons/trx-fixes-ld-12 Adds the Azazel mode from CoC and by god it's the most fun I've had in a long while with the stalker series

Clear Sky is really annoying to play Not enjoying being 2shot by just about every goon out there
It's really annoying to shoot a guy, have him stumble immune to bullets, keep shooting him to no effect, and then have to shoot him again. [editline]20th December 2017[/editline] Same goes for invisible bloodsuckers.
I can't be just imagining this, but I would always abuse the stagger animation in CS to land a headshot on the NPC for a flat out kill.
Works on my PC™ [vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/ngncok.webm[/vid]
So they're not completely immune?
So they're not completely immune?
Not immune period, as far as I can tell. Feels like another "novice makes your bullets disappear" thing to me. [vid]https://my.mixtape.moe/agkjxe.webm[/vid]
So they're not completely immune?
The ZRP page has something on this, apparently some areas just do not take damage at all at any point. If you can hit them in the head while they are stumbling you can fuck them up

The only thing I dislike is author's attitude towards CoC itself, he is trying to distance his mod from it, even though it couldn't be possible without Call of Chernobyl and it's community. [t]https://i.imgur.com/5V0ARyF.jpg[/t]
Lol ironman mode must be for masochosts
It is really frustrating, especially in Misery-based gameplay.
