• Team Fortress 2 10th Class?

Would we really need another class? The game is already unbalanced as it is.
Just an idea, but the 10th class could be the equivalent of a tank in l4d. After a certain period of time, or if your team is doing extra horrible, then a player would get chosen to play as Saxton Hale or some equally powerful character as a boost to the team.
Guard Dog for the tenth class.

It isn't so fun to play against a team that wants to risk losing just to play such a class.
We need a samurai class.
We don't need a tenth class.
Why would u want a civilian class that would be so terrible and fun for about 3 minutes And i doubt there will be a 10th class, maybe 12th, but i really doubt any new classes would come up Maybe in TF3
Wasn't it already established that the 10th figure was simply an oversized heavy?
"RIP The tenth class"
Rest in peace, Guard Dog. Or was it zeppelin guy?

Moustachio is the tenth class.
If there is going to be a 10th, let it be scientist. If there isn't, good.
A tenth class would be clever, but it should probably be added at the same time as one of the final class updates so we get even amounts of old and new classes.
it should be a character thats infulenced by shadowrun
Ok, we all know that the game will not get a tenth class, but if you could design a good balenced tenth class, what would you make it?
The tenth class is Random. It has every other classes power, but can only use one classes per life.
I actually have an idea for three new classes. A robot-type class similar to the heavy, meaning greater firepower, but he can only be healed by metal and can be sapped by a spy. Another assault class with a shotgun and C4 that can be a vigilante type character, sort of like John McClane from the Die Hard films. I'll spoiler the last one, because I'm going to get boxed out the ass for posting it on facepunch. [sp]A class with a jetpack to boost around the map like a rocket jumping soldier and a gravity gun-type weapon to push enemies around, a good harrassment class. Make it some sort of Japanese-ish robot suit girl, and you've pretty much covered every stereotype you can cover.[/sp] What the hell, I'll box myself.

I think that your second class would be good, but instead, with maybe a rifle for medium ranged encounters, so that he would have to plan out his c4 attacks, but it might also work with a shotgun (but everother class has one too). This class might encrouch upon the demo man and his stickies. So I'm not sure if it is completely original, but I would enjoy a class with c4 and a nice rifle. I think a class that can only fly and push people would be a gift to all trollers. It would be the new scout. and would also make capping intel way to easy. The class would also have a lack of strategy short of trolling and micspamming. I don't mean any offense.
Robot: Ok, the Heavy is immune to backstabs now, but if he's sapped, he's stunned! Yeah, no. People hate the Sandman stun as is, giving a new class that's weak to spies' sapper is even worse. Especially if the sapper does damage. You're going to have Engi buddies instead of Medic buddies, and Engis can't heal themselves. Vigilante: Ok, the demo no longer has a 'nade launcher, but a shotgun. And he can only lay one super-sticky at a time.
:iiam:
Just so we all know, two of my ideas for the robot class were missed. 1. The robot can still be backstabbed. 2. He can still move when being sapped, but he can't shoot. Also, the third class's gravity gun thingamajig and jetpack would probably have a recharge time similar to the sandman or jarate, possibly a bit shorter.
snipers baby cause in the blue wallpaper the sniper looks as if he is pregnant.
The tenth class is obviously going to be Rochelle, because everyone hated her in Left 4 Dead 2. >_>
If there is a 10th class, I highly doubt Valve would allow you to play it on every map, because that would spawn thousands upon thousands of balancing issues. I reckon it'll be the Civilian, and you'll only be able to play it in a Hunted gamemode (if they ever bother to resurrect it).
That would me thuuuuper fabulous! (gay man lisp)
1. It will be the Civilian 2. It will only be in the Hunted Game Mode which is what they are going to make next. 3. 9 Classes is the correct balanced amount, the Civilian won't have any major affect on the gameplay apart from people have to defend him.
