Yeah, should be between a week/week in a half. Took 10 days to get to me in Texas.
I wonder if we can shake hands over the internet with this :raise:
Or you could develop a personality better than that of a 12 year old and just enjoy it.
Please tell me what is so great about it. I think keyboard and mouse are just fine. And you need to develop a personality better than that of a complete dick. I was just stating my opinion. I'm 16 by the way
Hey Everyone, I'm tomnovint, Novint's ceo. The Falconers who have been posting can attest that I'm really me (Burger is a moderator on our forum, Marler is a new and increasingly active member of our community, and Devin is an active member, etc. all great guys). I love this forum. It has all the cussing but not the usual amount of attitude and trolling lol. Sweet, sincerely. For any of you who decided to get a Falcon, welcome to the Falcon family!! For those of you who just ordered, we'll be shipping Falcons in the next couple of days (I'll be helping with the shipping myself, given all the orders we've gotten), and you'll get a tracking number. You'll be getting your Orange Box keys in emails shortly as well, if you don't have it already. I personally answer all message board posts on the Novint message boards, so please consider me at your disposal to make your Falcon experience a great one ;)
thx, tomnovint

One other thing... for the moderators/owners of Facepunch, I'd be interested in doing some Falcon specials for the Facepunch community. From my initial introduction, it is a community I'd like to get more involved with, and do some fun stuff for the community (please email me if interested at:
tf2contest[at]novint[dot]com).
Also, Thorny, I agree you should get a commission ;) please send me a note to tf2contest[at]novint[dot]com and I can chat with you about it - thanks for starting the thread here and introducing Novint to the community.
finally, thanks again to the Falconers who jumped on the thread to help answer questions. As always, you guys are really great, and it is much appreciated ;)
thx, tomnovint

Oh... Wow.
Awesome.
I hope they expand to Europe in the near future, then the shipping costs wouldn't be so large and I could also buy one.
Huh, well how about that. Really awesome that you took the time to post on the forum :P
You're the Valve of computer accessories.
Does this bundle (The BalckFriday-CyberMonday one) include all the FeelinIt! Games? Already bought it but was just curious, I would love to play the ping-pong one.
And thorny I apologise again, surprised Tom registered and made that announcement, but as you can see Novint is a great company!
Tom Novint just posted. End this forum now.
COOLEST. CEO. EVER.
I will be getting one of these in the future. I wish I had the money for this but I needed a new TV. :( Oh well I will just pay full price when I do have the money.

Agreed. And hopefully there will be more offers in the future
Just when we thought Gabe was cool for having a picture of him as a Pirate :v: I'm surprised that you agreed to give Thorny some recognition for this Tom. Respect +15. Also your plans for making FP specific offers are a great idea, you'll get more business, we'll get more members, Garry will get more money meaning our servers don't die. Everybody wins.:buddy:

If you want, someone is probably able to give you 20% (By giving you their refferal code.)
I would give you one, but I'm not able to just yet.
I still cant order the damn pistol grip. Been sold out for AGES
I didn't even fucking know they were selling it for 100$. I HOPE THEY SELL IT AGAIN PLEASE SELL IT FOR ANOTHER WEEKEND 100$
FALCONSALE is mine. 20% off, not as good as the Christmas sale, but still better than nothing.
Yeah, plenty of people from the Novint forums have referral codes. Speaking from experience though I won't post it. You'll have to PM me if you want mine.
Shit, I just thought of something. Are the drivers for this compatible with 64-bit operating systems? Also, I can't fucking WAIT for mine to come in. Even if it doesn't help me play better with FPS's like TF2, the best game ever to fool around in with this is GMOD. That is going to be awesome.
[editline]11:08PM[/editline]
I signed up for the referral program a few days ago. I haven't gotten an email back. How long did it take for them to reply for you guys?
The regular drivers for the Falcon are 64 bit compatible (have used it on Vista and Win 7 64 bit).
F-Gen, the drivers that Novint is working on to allow Falcon use with all games, isn't quite 64 bit compatible yet. Tom tweeted about the F-Gen status just hours ago.
F-Gen beta is getting very close. I tried out a near final version yesterday. Only thing we're stuck on is 64 bit - 32 bit will be out soon
Oh and it took about two-three days to get my referral code up and running.
thanks all. I'll plan on doing some good stuff with FP - we can get a good deal going for you all in the future in general. I saw a couple people who missed the deal - I'll keep it open for a bit longer if you read this message. send a note to tf2contest [at] novint [dot] com, and we can arrange for some manual $99 orders for people who missed it - a FP exclusive right now.
I think burger has answered most questions as usual.
F-Gen 64 bit shouldn't be too much longer, I imagine.
thx, tomnovint

One other thing... for those of you who haven't gotten emails or tracking numbers, etc., it will be to you shortly. We're pretty swamped right now. If you get concerned and want an update, you can post a message on our boards, and I'll answer there.
thx, tomnovint

How easy would it be for me to make a driver for a game by myself? I don't program but I am not a virgin to it. But for a simple game with no feedback (vibrations and movement) wouldn't it just be binding the movement directions of the controller with keys?
For example, even though I'm not going to program it for this game, shouldn't making the Falcon work for Pacman be very easy?
I still cant order the damn pistol grip. Been sold out for AGES
jordguitar, if you send a note to falconsales [at] novint [dot] com, we can order you a pistol grip manually
thanks, tomnovint

Hey if you really want to be awesome, talk to Garry and maybe make some cool features with the Falcon and Garry's Mod. If you don't know what Garry's mod is, it is a hugely popular mod on Steam using the Source engine made by Garry (The founder of this forum). His username on here is http://www.facepunch.com/member.php?u=1 Garry.
[editline]011:58PM[/editline]
Nice avatar by the way.
thx Zoo. I love your pic lol - it's hard not to keep looking at it once you see it.
On the F-Gen drivers, it will be easy for you to make settings for a game yourself. That is the main point of it - for the community to create game drivers. We built in a scripting system that you'll easily pick up if you're technical, and once a game's settings are complete, you can export/import with the push of a button, and share with your friends.
yep, I definitely know Garry's Mod ;) It is a top game that I'd like to get. We sent Garry a Falcon quite a while back, but now's the time to get back in touch with him. I was talking to someone yesterday about getting back in touch with him - hopefully we can get it integrated. That is a game that the Falcon could add a lot to, and vice-versa.
thx, tomnovint
