so i was looking at importing MINOR PLANET CENTER ORBIT DATABASE (MPCORB)

just half million objects for our sol system
it's easy to convert it into Celestia .ssc format, but it's not enough for the .sc format
i have done it but for some reason
the engine is constantly trying build surfaces for the asteroids which plain suck
(i tried it only with ~640 objects not half million ofcourse)
Comets:
i see the engine supports comets but even after importing them in proper format
(tried both comets and asteroids nothing shows)
any tips what might be wrong ? cause i getting somewhere to be able add celestial bodies

What are you using to convert to scc and sc formats? I'd like to give it a try and maybe figure out a solution to your problem.
