I'm starting to suspect it's more than just the procedural generation, I spent hours on this specific Galaxy where I didn't crash once, and yet all others I've been to made me crash at some point.
People you can all register at the English version of the site, and show this guy support.
it could be specific star or planet or asteroid ... also remember the generated galaxy and nebulaes are stored in cache, if they saved incorrect (crash) they stay there and crash you always ...
It's downloading at 4kb/s for me... is there any better way to download it? I'm downloading from the russian site.
Why are you downloading from the RU site. Use the torrent from the EN site, it's full speed.

Does anyone know if it's possible to reduce the amount of crashing in this game? Feels like it knows when i find something awesome and decides to crash on me :saddowns:

And adjust the r_VideoMemory variable in config/main.cfg to your graphic card's RAM amount. That's all I know of so far.

Still waiting for a GAME based on this. I miss games like David Braben's Elite. The reason space sims are dead is because they stopped using this kind of tech. Here's to infinity:qfe. *tink*
spikes, i bet they are rounding errors or calc errors ;)
spikes, i bet they are rounding errors or calc errors ;)
Probably calc errors, but it still looks really, really detailed.

Perfect music. Shit quality though.
Weird, I flew into the LMC near the milkyway, and all the stars inside are moving. Is that normal?
Weird, I flew into the LMC near the milkyway, and all the stars inside are moving. Is that normal?
Are you sure you weren't locked onto a random planet far away?
Probably yeah, now I realise that this is why the speedo said zero, it was in relation to that planet. Duh.

Why did they change the earth's atmosphere since 0.90? I find the old one better No wait they just got rid of that sun sprite
This is much better than celestia and universe simulator.
Is there any way to save your spawn location without closing the program?
Weird bug in this is that planets in other galaxies seem to be off axis, if you zoom it, you zoom in somewhere away from the planet, not into the centre of it.
Weird bug in this is that planets in other galaxies seem to be off axis, if you zoom it, you zoom in somewhere away from the planet, not into the centre of it.
This is a bug that's been mentioned before, If you just press G again it will realign to the center of the selected planet.
