Low-res textures everywhere. How do I get them to be high-res?
There's an english readme in 0.9
Or you could just download the mirror because it's fully updated and has everything?
You should have downloaded both anyway.
Imagine if they made a Star control 2 type game out of this.
It would be amazing.

use Zombii's mirror on page 2

Orkel changed the thread title, that should bring some more eyes
Is there a way to disable the UI? I can't have any space wallpapers with a bunch of numbers on the sides of the screen.

Try only having only Procedural planets on Known stars and only Known stars on. That should give you enough stuff to look at for a long time.
Plus in the "main" file in the config folder set the vram to your vram.
Can anyone else see the Pegasus Dwarf Irregular Galaxy? (its Pegasus DIG in the program) I go to it, but its just black space.
It's not showing up in mine either. Strange.
More things need to be like this.

Must be a bug.
So how exactly do I go out and find other planets other than just clicking a dot far off in the distance.
Where are the pulsars? I tried typing in B #### into search like zombii said, but no dice.
Anyone having this issue or have a fix? :smith:
If I get any closer than this:

Then the entire screen is engulfed with this:

Check your velocity setting (scroll wheel).
Mine does that too, with Mercury and Jupiter, Earth, Mars and Venus were fine though

Also, if you run in compatibility mode with Windows XP, the constant cluster fucking crashes cease. Still can't run it in fullscreen mode though, god damnit

That third image is amazing.
I actually by chance accidentally stumbled onto Betelgeuse, and it had quite a few bodies orbiting it. Celestial bodies, not ejected space pilots

*Phew* had me worried there for a second.
I always seem to find Betelgeuse at least once when ever I explore.
This thing needs a naming system for planets and stars, some procedurally generated life on those very rare occasions, and we'll just about have a kick ass Noctis replacement. Not sure how to determine if a planet has life or not.. I know some do, like earth, but you can't tell by looking at it
That would be a hilarious easter egg.
If like around a random star every session, there was an orbiting ship, that was derelict, with bodies floating around.
X3 Soundtrack. Siezewell. Perfect music to listen to while messing around in this

Most of the non-combat tracks are perfect, and anything by Alexei Zakharov
Hey guys, I have to take the mirror down, as my Dropbox just got suspended for 3 days for "generating excessive traffic" for the mirror. In the meantime I'll upload it to filesmelt.
Few more screenshots, Nothing real nice

First one had another planet, almost same size, right beside that one, but the Anti Aliasing looked horrible so I shopped it out
Found a nice planet with life drifting apart from the galaxy next to a couple of white dwarf stars.
