Did it with another planet.

It's crashing a lot more on me than 0.9.5 even after configuring it to use the right amount of video memory :(
Holy shit I never played this before because I thought it was paid
This thing is awesome, anything worth mentioning that I should know about it?

You can go to space.
You can go to space.
Seriously, this thing is amazing, holy shit
Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. 0.96 is released. Holy fuck.

And I discover this at 2 am.
My god, all those awesome features.
Well it's not like I needed sleeping anyway.
Oh wow that looks incredible.
Hey guys, open the console with [~] and type "run test" without the quotes.
You can make scripted tours now!
Fuck, I need to help set up my cousin's wedding tomorrow morning. I can't be up all night with this
[editline]6th July 2012[/editline]
wow I'm getting a lot better FPS in this version.
Damnit, the site is down. Can anyone put up a direct link to the torrent?
Here you go.

My First Planet with Life in this version

Found it in the Pegasus DIG
That's a pretty planet.
I found a binary planet at the far reaches of the universe-cube (oddly enough, that's my 42nd screenshot in this version).
[thumb]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/32146097/scr00037.png[/thumb]
Can you imagine what our culture, religions and space-exploration would be like if Earth had been a binary planet system like that?
Edit: So the universe in SE is only about 30 856 802 500 000 000 meters in radius while the observable universe is about 44 464 483 500 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 meters in radius. IT'S NOT BIG ENOUGH.
I'm having a bit of a problem. Every time I enter the atmosphere of a planet, it forces my rotation to that of the planet, making me drag the planet instead of looking around when I right click. Hitting shift-D again does nothing, X does nothing, I can't figure it out.

Also, the right key combo is Shift-G or Ctrl-G.
Oh god I have no idea what I'm doing with those starships.
I just decided to turn on the hyperdrive and now I'm in buttfucking nowhere aaaaaaaaaaaa.
Spaceships don't render for me. They're just...invisible..:suicide:
they rendered for me, then they randomly disappeared.
[editline]6th July 2012[/editline]
How the heck do you control the ships.

This happened to me too, when I try to get to them I just end up in some endless void.
I also crash pretty much instantly when I enter the atmosphere of a planet.
How the hell do I control the starship
How the hell do I control the starship
Numpad.
I wish that space-engine could model the birth/death of the universe.
I remember, a long time back, playing Celestia, and running time in reverse hoping to see all the stars collapse back into one central point.
I wanted to see the birth of the universe.
Wasn't there supposed to be something about exporting a planets terrain/normal maps/bump maps/etc. in .96?

Look in the editor menu.
Well I just went past the speed of light in a starship in normal space.
Suffice to say that the ship's now one with the universe.
The spaceships do tend to vanish at high speeds.
I flew to Mars and back

How do I use this spaceship everyone is talking about and using? Googled but couldn't find anyting.
Ok so, the ship vanishes because its really far from a light source, once you get closer to a light source the model will show up again.
Ok so, the ship vanishes because its really far from a light source, once you get closer to a light source the model will show up again.
Doesn't help me. :/
Doesn't render even if I'm three meters off of a planet.
Edit: Well shit, I figured the problem. I had the game paused.:v:
