I'll just use this: It's so relaxing.
made a super fast video. small ice planet orbiting a neutron star. I thought it was cool [editline]6th April 2011[/editline]
I'll just use this: It's so relaxing.
oh shit I forgot about that song
Woo, I found a comfort terra (earth-like planet) :D! For some reason photobucket sees it as a corrupt file , so I can't upload a pic, same with a lot of other pics... Here's some other cool stuff though: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v191/TetraLink/scr00012.png http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v191/TetraLink/scr00017.png http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v191/TetraLink/scr00021.png http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v191/TetraLink/scr00028.png Also, anyone know why it flips all images? It's weird and annoying. [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] Damn, there's this weird cloud of stuff above the milky way that crashes me whenever I wanna check it out :(

I have more images as well: I can't wait for this thing when it is post beta and has more effects.

I love how you can literally just click any little dot you see, and it can end up being some awesome system of planets, some with moons, some with life on it etc. Shit is awesome. Also, fuck binary stars man. there's thousands of em out there, and only like 1 in every thousand has more than just two stars in the system :downs: [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] That's the milkyway in the background [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] Holy shit, this one is so awesome I actually bothered rotating it for you guys:
This game is like the ultimate wallpaper generator. I listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd when I play this game. [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] How did you get the little picture cards of all the planets in the top? [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] Also I vote that the Mass Effect Galaxy Map theme is the official thread music. Most others people posted aren't really that good, but the entire EVE soundtrack is perfect as well.
For all of you getting blank planets and/or "OUT OF MEMORY" messages. Go into the config folder and change the resolution in the main.cfg file. Alternatively, you can raise the video memory part of the same file if it is higher than what it is by default. For some reason 1980 x 1080 is standard for the program regardless of what your desktop settings are. [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] Also change the video memory if it is higher than what you have.
How did you get the little picture cards of all the planets in the top?
F2. You can right-click each planet card to see moons orbiting it too, and clicking any card makes it your active selection.
I am a little disappointed that when I flew to the center of the galaxy (Or at least as close as I could find to the center) there were no super clusters of stars...

I found tatooine! :buddy: It's a warm terra with life, orbiting a binary system.
Some more 1280x1024 wallpaper stuff: The second one may be my best shot yet.
16:9 desktops please
I'm kinda wondering now after playing this for a few hours: How much of this is actually real. Like, is stuff taken from data from NASA or some shit, and implemented into this 'game'? [editline]7th April 2011[/editline] I know some close-by stars might be mapped out, but...
Another couple of images:
Best planet EVER to live. Binary star system, near a globular cluster, with a view of the damn galaxy. Also has a pretty nice day/night. 50% day, 25% dusk, 25% night.
[img_thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/540638652590557527/0F725AE35EFF65C8C3C2A7CF74B5EEF672B9F88C/?.jpg[/img_thumb]
I need to explore more. I rarely find vistas like this.
I love space so this should be cool.
Imagine shores of hazeron on this engine. [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] Anybody else find an asteroid? [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] Nice view of the Milky Way...from a planet billions of lightyears away. It almost looks like the entire galaxy can fit in the palm of your hand.
Haha, this planet has an orbit period of 900 years!
Its also very young, only 8 million years.
I am a little disappointed that when I flew to the center of the galaxy (Or at least as close as I could find to the center) there were no super clusters of stars...
Seriously? When I go to the center of the milkyway I see this:
Oops.
Any time I find something nice I either accidentally fly off at a billion times the speed of light and lose it or it crashes
ief014 8 million years is very very young for a planet [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] earth is 4.5 billion years old
Oldest I've seen so far is 80 million.
