They say for every hour of sleep you miss (out of the normal 8 hours for adults) you only need to sleep for half that to regain what you lost.
Well makes sense. 16/2=8.
But, I usually stay up from 3pm to 5am, that is 14 hours. So I sleep 10 horus.

Jeasus if I stay awake 7:00AM Saturday till 4:00PM Sunday, I have usually fallen asleep on the couch and wake up the next day around 1 :s
I already got hallucinations after like 30 hours.
Looking at for example concrete and seeing the cracks move.
Well, I have been up for three days with only 5 hours of sleep. FIVE HOURS!!!!
I having a compition w/ my family. Seeing who can stay up the longest. It does help that I have a serious case of sleep disorder. Well, time to finally get that well needed rest. I have to wait for monday when i go to school, so i have something to do and sont pass out.
In lab experiments people have forcibly kept mice awake at all times. The mice die.

So, "five people" are political dissidents
:ohdear:
There's no source at all and I can't find anything confirming the story. I'm gonna guess it's just an old internet legend.
7 days. shit was trippy.
Shit someone already said it
But it was.
The Marines have to stay up 4 days straight at mandatory training.
But a bucket of water over a victim, poke a tiny hole. Shave your victim bald, then poke a hole in the bucked. Ice cold water will drip on his head every few seconds. Chinese torture. It's awful.
:iia:

At about 4 to 5 days you start seeing shadow people and start going crazy
I can't imagine the hell after that.
The record is 11.
But it's different for everybody.

It's hell, but it's a fun hell. For me hallucinations started on the 3rd day. Imagine what it was like on the 6th
about 4 for me
felt like raw shit when I woke up after that
My longest is 3.5 days. When i finally got to bed i woke up after 35 hours. It felt good.
I'd say about 4-6 days, but your body will of cource get weaker and less controllable.
i been awake about a week now *twitch* and should go longer if the shadow people don't get me *twitch*
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH there's one on my head!!!! *twitch**twitch**twitch**twitch**twitch**twitch**twitch*

Yes, but why they do so is yet to be known. Sleep itself shouldn't be necessary.
