Altough modders just found out how to make maps It isn't very modable by default except for the ENB and a few car models, and you need a uber-rig to run it.
Source for it's history, modifiability, and the fact that one or two of the most popular games on Steam are on Source.
I'd say Unreal, I've never seen Cryengine.
CryEngine, Unreal 3, and T3D
STALKER's Engine
Outerra seems promising.

I've seen several pictures of this and thought they were 100% real photographs. Everything looks so beautiful.
I'd have to say Unreal Engine for one of the best engines. It's EXTREMELY easy to use, and very moddable. It's a shame developers have to stick with the colour brown for every single game they make on it. I couldn't stand newly released The Ball because of how brown it was.

holy shittt
RAGE, because Euphoria makes bodies seem like they actually have weight. Also, I would really like a link to those graphics mods.
I like Source very much. I like to see cool graphics, but I'm just used to playing games on the Source engine (and I love the map editor) and I don't really know all the engine names of the other games.
I can imagine the engine that powers GTA 4, is a great one.

Erm, that's not an actual game engine, it's a physics engine
Geo Mod 2.0
I vomit when i see source engine.
Graphically: Both cryengines.
Cryengine 1 in 2004 looked incredible
Cryengine 2 in 2007 looked incredible.
Cryengine 3 in 2010 will look incredible.
Moddability: Source easily.
Easy to use level editor, SDK included makes modding for source rather easy. It is pretty outdated graphically though.
Any actual Source modder will tell you it's a pain in the arse to use, unless you just make maps then you probably won't notice anything. But, for coders it's hard to update to newer engine versions and the SDK still hasn't been updated to Source 2009 and Valve are ignoring any questions relating to it. For artists it has terrible workflow. A lot of mods such as Insurgency, Age of Chivalry and even Zombie Panic Source are focusing their attention to the UDK as it gives them a lot more creative freedom as well as improving their workflow. Unlike the Source SDK, migrating to newer versions of the UDK is also very easy since most of your game will be written in UnrealScript.
However, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on CryEngine 3 more. Apparently the system requirements are lower but it will be pushing higher end systems more. Combine this with what Crytek have said with a "free" version of the engine, then you have a viable platform for your game. I'm just hoping that they have a royalty based licence for indies, like UDK does.
I heard that with UDK, you have to model most of your geometry as opposed to source where you can easily use brushes to create whatever structures you want. Is this true?

No the UDK still uses BSP and you can still use brushes. But like in Source, if you don't combine that with models it'll look really ugly. However, compare that to CryEngine 3 that uses height maps for geometry, most of your level will have to be made up of models - this creates more impressive looking maps but is more of a strain on the artists as they have to make pretty much everything you see in the level.

I see. Thanks for the info.
My prefered Engine is Source.
What's wrong with that?

You mean CryEngine 2, right? CE3 seems to be aimed at a wider range of games rather than just for handling huge outside areas with heightmap terrain and lots of vegetation. Not having some easily editable level geometry in it just wouldn't make sense.
Personally, Unreal.

You know what, I second this, I really like the X-ray Engine.

Even Gamebryo can look good with ENB-based mods:

Actually, it's an experiment. How people react to actual vocals in a post, compared to text.
