So since I can't get HRT on the NHS, a friend has suggested Anti-androgens and get regular blood tests, then try speaking to the NHS again when my body changes a bit.
Can anyone suggest advice on this?
I might be able to give some advice after I've been to my doctor this wednesday, then I can bring news on if they'll finally help or if they'll ignore it.
Yeah that's right.
I've got Disassociative Identity Disorder so they see it as a "phase" and that it's just something that will pass. Considering I've felt like this most of my life I'm pretty sure it's not a phase.
And the only thing I can think of doing is proving to them I'm serious about it by taking any sensible routes open to me.
It really hurts when someone turns to you and goes "You're not transgender, you're just having a phase."
Well I wanted to help you, so I asked my irl transgirl friend with DID how she did it.
Sadly, no luck. She apparently never informed or gave hints to any doctor about her having DID. So she couldn't give me any advice for you. It's too bad you were medically diagnosed. :/
Sorry :c
PM Swebonny if you feel the ban is too short.
I think he deserves more, yes. He even posted on my profile. :v:

Thankyou for asking anyway, it's very much appreciated. :)
This is going to be a super silly question but...
Has anyone heard of any deaths related to HRT?
Anyone?
Anyone?
When I was with my Endo she warned me about the risk of blood clots that can cause Death, but apparently it's not super common.
I wanna buy a bra and stuff it. Just to wear it around my apartment. Is there any tips on getting the right one for me?

And is there a place where I can buy a bra without needing to go to a store. >.>

In my opinion if you don't try a bra on there's a really good chance it'll be uncomfortable if you don't know the brand etc fits and is comfy already
(But that's just my experience)
I had a very fun time at the zoo :D
also got two computers!
[t]http://i1061.photobucket.com/albums/t464/GreatMontauk/20120520_205901.jpg[/t]
one of them might be a temporary gaming computer and the other one is a 486 from the 90s [that means its OLD]
messy
messy
I need to clean everything since theres also a CRT outside as well which I'm going to use for the 486 computer.
You don't want to see my room then.
I do.
My room has parcels and environmental bags everywhere. And a wet floor sign for some reason.
And a wet floor sign for some reason.
Is your floor wet?
Also why does everyone have messy rooms? I'm lazy and my room is always pretty clean. Other than my clothes which I'm too lazy to fold so I just kinda have them piled on a box where my cat likes to lay. :v:
I should probably show off my room..
Brb photo.
Here.
http://db.tt/DDZ1BFtK so unwomanly.

Cleaned up my desk a little bit.

[t]http://i1061.photobucket.com/albums/t464/GreatMontauk/20120521_023352.jpg[/t]
I gotta replace the CMOS battery on the 486 and then buy myself a PROPER PS/2 keyboard since adapters won't work. I'll reinstall MS-DOS while I'm at it.

My closet is horizontal and I also walk on it.
I think I'm going to start straightening my front hair and keep my sides and back afro mode. This is going to be avantgarde.
This only shows my front bangs but anyway:

That looks very....boyish.
It's not like I can make my hair look girlish.
likewise, but I was just commenting on it
I think it's actually quite girly
If I recall correctly there is a test for determining gender.
Found it;
http://garote.bdmonkeys.net/bsri.html
It's called the Bem Sex Role Inventory test created by Dr. Sandra Bem back in 1971 though it is still relevant today.
I once thought I was androgynous because I displayed both male and female behaviours, this test gave me a better understanding of where my head was at. Not sure if it'll help you, but it can't harm you.
Perhaps a tad bit late but....
