I don't know, but he seemed mean. I was just chilling here with Cheeseman and Kaze and he comes out of no where.
don't go to ausfailia it's like africa but with fewer civilized people
Nah that's just Western and South Australia (states) And from what I heard almost all the most poisonous/dangerous snakes and spiders are only located in one state. Western Australia. ......I live in Western Australia ;-; [editline]7th June 2012[/editline]
One day our gov. will actually be able to implement the fiber optic internet system without being plagued by the retarded bullshit that a bipartisan system brings with it and then we will be the ultimate country
SOME DAY, I DREAM OF A COUNTRY TOWN IN WA ON THE NBN Also Tools where are you located now if you don't mind me asking? And if you have to choose somewhere to go, I'd say Canada. Canada seems to have most trans things covered in their insurance plans and such, more so than places than the UK and AUS (from what I've been told)
Actually, South Australia is mostly alright s'long as you don't go rural, whereas almost all of NT and all of WA is pretty bad
Ok. I went to see the doctor today. She was really young. D: She asked me loads of questions and I talked a lot. Anyway, she seemed to disagree with everything I said. She was trying to tell me that maybe I'm just bisexual. I told mer few times that I am pansexual. And when we talked about my family she called me a boy. When I corrected her she looked offended. What. I was getting really nervous and scared that she wont write the referral for me. Then suddenly she started talking really much and it's like she changed to a complete different person. She told me that she was going to write the referral already before she even met me based on what she read from me, but she needed a permission from another doctor so she couldn't do it. She suddenly agreed with everything I said before. She was really nice and started even joking around a bit. I think she was just testing me the whole time... Anyway. Going to see my therapist in two weeks and then I should call to Tampere and ask when I can start seeing them.
don't go to ausfailia it's like africa but with fewer civilized people
Australia is awesome. Also finally got my hands on some thigh high stockings. Is good day.
-Snip-
So happy it worked out for you <3
Wait tools, was this at the odense hospital or somewhere else, the odense one should be very professional about stuff like this afaik.
I'll never understand how people, like the people Tools is dealing with and Inufin, can be so fucking ignorant. How. HOW?
I'll never understand how people, like the people Tools is dealing with and Inufin, can be so fucking ignorant. How. HOW?
upbringing. and parents want their kids to live a normal safe life.
I'll never understand how people, like the people Tools is dealing with and Inufin, can be so fucking ignorant. How. HOW?
I find that some questions are better left unanswered. Not because the answer isn't satisfying but simply because there is no answer.
I'll never understand how people, like the people Tools is dealing with and Inufin, can be so fucking ignorant. How. HOW?
I'm ignorant? D:
I'm ignorant? D:
No, the people you have to deal with. Eg people who don't like you for being trans or such
I'm ignorant? D:
Nononononon, poor choice of wording, my bad.
Actually, South Australia is mostly alright s'long as you don't go rural, whereas almost all of NT and all of WA is pretty bad
South Aus has some laws I always think of like "redneck"-ish though. HURR DURR DON'T DISPLAY COVERS FOR R RATED MOVIES IN STORES, THEY ALL HAVE TO BE BLACK WITH JUST TEXT SAYING WHAT THE MOVIE IS ON THE FRONT. SEEING A SFW COVER OF AN R RATED MOVIE COULD BE HARMFUL TO THE CHILDREN!!!!! I've seen MA movies with way worse covers than R rated ones. [editline]8th June 2012[/editline]
parents want their kids to live a normal safe life.
I get that but I think it'd be the cruelest thing ever when your child says they feel genuinely uncomfortable constantly due to the body they were born in then you just go NO YOU'RE WRONG DEAL WITH IT just for the sake of wanting them to be "normal"
upbringing. and parents want their kids to live a normal safe life.
I fail to see how putting kids on medication that practically makes them think for them is having a safe, normal life.

Thats what I figured, but before we even started talking I handed her over a paper with instructions for doctors about giving the referral for the special hospital. The first part was that all testing/diagnosing is done at the special hospital and pre-diagnosing at the local doctor is just a waste of time and it will just delay solving the issue and the third part was that any Finnish person has the right (there was a quote from law text) to receive a referral there if they feel that they have a trans related issue. Anyway. I'm glad it turned out this way, but it still was weird.
My mum bought me a suit the other day for the cruise in the summer. Haven't got a shirt yet so I will post a picture when I have. I look pretty good, although I was so small that the smallest size they did was only just about small enough for me and the trousers need taking up. Anyway, here are some cufflinks I bought as well (cos I have a thing for cufflinks and now I have an excuse to wear them xD) http://nicholassteer.tumblr.com/post/24624672101/my-amazing-new-cufflinks-d-excuse-the-worst
I got some tights today. Holy shit, these are the most comfortable things ever.
