The process for legally changing my name has reinforced my belief that all forms of local government are run by turtles trapped in quicksand.

Not sure if it's been addressed yet, but compounding Fetishists with people who identify as Trans... and inviting them all to one place.
Is a just a recipe for disaster.

I hate that they had to reveal this was an alien movie.
I dunno, I figured they had to, otherwise people going in expecting some Paul Blart shit might get all butthurt.
I figure it's like if they showed a Terminator trailer, and all it was was Arnold in a leather jacket shooting people, and then you go see it, and it's like TIME TRAVELIN ROBOT WAR SHENANIGANS.
people's heads might asplode.

It's not because of that. They had to because of the Trayvon Martin incident. They didn't want people to think this was mocking Trayvon.
Other movies did stuff like that too. From Dusk Till Dawn was only advertised as an action film and for the first hour it was, and then vampires.
The who what incident?

An unarmed black kid got shot and killed by a self-proclaimed neighborhood watch captain with a history of assault charges and calling the police too many times. Created a huge ruckus.

Isn't there still supposedly shit with that dude going on? I think I'd heard of him having sexual harassment charges placed against him.

Wouldn't surprise me. The guy is mental there's no doubt about it.
What do you all do when you're feeling like shit?

Cry. It helps.
Cry. It helps.
How the hell do people manage to though? The last time I cried (For real) was like 2 years ago. Since then the closest to that I can do is just get watery eyes and feel sad.

This pretty much.

I usually cry, talk to people, or take a walk.

Dare to be Badass. Get inspired to improve, succeed, never give up, and all other silly stuff. Music, films, games, books, whatever it is that's your thing to get you going. Sometimes I just tense up and mentally roar at everything. Perhaps that's just a guy/tomboy thing...

I can't even remember the last time I cried. The last time I was tempted was listening to Acceptance from the Silent Hill Shattered Memories soundtrack (reading into the lyrics leads to spoilers just to warn you). Last time I REALLY felt like tearing up was watching the ending to Toy Story 3. That was undoubtibly the hardest torrent of tears I've ever had to hold back, and I'm oddly proud that I did. The Toy Story films were my childhood and finally watching the series end just got to me on a level I don't think any film could ever hope to reach, though the upcoming Nolan-Batman film is a contender since I LOVE Batman and that film series.
Incidentally I like this new wave of superhero films cutting through all the grimdark films of late, I really hope it leads to a resurrgence of optimism, idealism, enlightenment, and general goodly goodness.

I always think like "uhhh I'm so going to improve on x" when I'm sad/crying, but afterwards I just don't care about it. It's so damn annoying that I only want to improve when I'm sad.

Keep it in your mind. Write it on a post it note and stick it by your bed if you need to. And remember giving up is going to feel worse than anything your might have to go through to succeed. Well, hopefully, can't say that for every situation. But it sounds motivational.
only like 18 new posts while i slept, everyone is slacking off

May not work for you if you don't have a passion for writing, but I like to write or just make up stories in my head. Maybe I'll do a little bit of a playout scenario out loud, even if it does look like I'm talking to myself. A lot of the times the stories or whatever involve the emotions I'm feeling right now, or just random crap I made up. Either way, it helps me. Not sure why, but it does.
lack of pics in here nowadays and i like to see them tbqh

I already keep a diary and write as a hobby but I'll just bring up my shit with my therapist next time I see him I guess.

That's a good idea too. And write down everything that you feel. I did it today (well yesterday) and it helped because I almost forgot a few things.

Looks like it'd be funnier if it wasn't tbh.
I can't even remember the last time I cried.
I've cried several times in these past weeks, my counselor keeps rescheduling my appointment, and I've been in this stressed out state for about a month now.
Gotta cry in secret, though. Can't tell my dad shit because I already know the answers I'll get, and it'll just make me feel worse.
