idk I agree ankle socks are the way too go, they look sexy in pictures but i find them not very practical. [editline]21st July 2012[/editline] although i'm very boho-simple when it comes to fashion
Just spoke with my mother about being insecure about who I am and being insecure if I'm really suppose to be a boy and not a girl. Basically she got suprised about she might have a daughter... Felt awesome having such an cool reaction from her :3

I was even more in shock because I thought she wouldn't have rejected it. She seems to be a bit better now but I can't help feel that she's still a little uncomfortable about the whole thing. My therapist actually wants to me to tell my brother now. It's a little hard for me because I'm really scared he'd reject me. I love him so much :/
I kind off want to tell my brother too, but I'm not sure if I can tell him because he's possibly transphobic.
Similar to what I think too. I'm not sure what his stance on homosexuality even is. He's a jokester. He can't go a minute without joking around so its hard to tell what he means something. Like my mother can say something like, "Did you go to the store today?" His response will be something like, "Did you go on your FACE TODAY?" He's joked about our neighbor being gay before but we can't tell if he really hates gay people or just jokes around about it in a friendly way. Still, I've learned the hard way that just because someone is a gay supporter doesn't mean they support transsexuals. But my therapist wants me to tell my family before I start HRT so they'll have time to get over it.

As for your brother, maybe bring up a trans related news article or something to properly get his opinion. [editline]21st July 2012[/editline]
Well I pretty much have evidence that he's transphobic from some of his posts here on FP.
as unfortunate as that is if you're considering HRT within the near future at all i'd recommend telling him and/or casually bringing something trans related into a conversation to get his true opinion
Well I pretty much have evidence that he's transphobic from some of his posts here on FP.
well thats just unfortunate
Going pantyshopping with my girlbuddy later :33333 Told my sis about my crossdressing, shes cool with it Made my day <3
Bought some purple and black striped arm-warmers. I owe Mattie one for encouraging me to come out to my parents (somewhat) after keeping it to myself for a good 3-4 years <3 Bad photo though, I don't like my hair as it is naturally, and the light doesn't show off my figure very well :c http://filesmelt.com/dl/CIMG0930_small.jpg
why are you shirtless those arm warmers look so out of place
Because I don't have anything that matches them...yet.
You look adoraboo
Because I don't have anything that matches them...yet.
what match arm warmers
So by that logic nothing I wore would look good with them. Ok.
So by that logic nothing I wore would look good with them. Ok.
i dunno i don't like arm warmers you could always get a hoodie and crap like i usually do... i cant think of a situation where i ever wore arm warmers..
i dunno i don't like arm warmers you could always get a hoodie and crap like i usually do... i cant think of a situation where i ever wore arm warmers..
horizon v2
horizon v2
ok well to be truthful there's like, on my dislike list i have thigh highs, arm warmers and tights. thats like it kay? it all depends on the outfit
i dunno i don't like arm warmers you could always get a hoodie and crap like i usually do... i cant think of a situation where i ever wore arm warmers..
Ah, I thought you mightn't like them, you're right in a way that nothing really goes with them, they just seemed the least conspicuous thing to buy to begin with, and I thought they looked cute. Thanks for the advice on hoodies etc., I'll try it, though I'd really appreciate it if you could give me some direction in style. Usually I just wear jeans and a t-shirt. Sorry if I came across rude with my previous reply by the way.

I really like knitted jumpers for my warmer clothes
you know what i wear when i want to be warm? a coat.
ok well to be truthful there's like, on my dislike list i have thigh highs, arm warmers and tights. thats like it kay? it all depends on the outfit
I agree on most of this besides tights. tights are wonderful for the winter/fall because you can wear them with big shirts/jumpers/dresses i should clarify though i don't like coloured tights. just black or translucent idk i have simple taste in fashion [editline]21st July 2012[/editline]
you know what i wear when i want to be warm? a coat.
I haven't found a coat i like yet, although I had my eye on a dark green one the other day
Well I pretty much have evidence that he's transphobic from some of his posts here on FP.
One thing to keep in mind though is that there are people who's opinions and ideals change when someone in their family comes out. There are homophobes who stop being (at least nearly as) homophobic when they have an LGB sibling, child, or parent. There are transphobes who stop being transphobic when they have a trans* sibling, child, or parent. Not to say that this is how it goes every time, but just to reassure you that there IS hope.
I'm not even sure if he's transphobic, he has generally been an asshole towards the trans people on FP, but that's probably because he always gets in to arguments with everyone on here. But I still fear for the worst. [editline]21st July 2012[/editline] But I digress, I should really get an avatar for this account. But I can't be as cool as you guys and get an anime avatar, mainly due to that I don't watch any anime and don't really give a crap about it.
Get something you care bout then?
ok well to be truthful there's like, on my dislike list i have thigh highs, arm warmers and tights. thats like it kay? it all depends on the outfit
You seem to dislike all the things I like :\
