All the cool people are on the internet.
I know that feel. Even past my anxiety and shit I'd rather be extremely lonely (Like I am now) than be friends with these dickheads.
It's less about gender, more about personality.
You're right, but I feel like most of the time (especially in highschool) people fulfill gender stereotypes and guys tend to be much more insensitive.

I'd ditch them and stuff but unfortunately they're my only way to pull through in group assignments.
My friend's response was "cool"

It's less of gender stereotypes, I think, and more gendered communication. Masculine communication tends to be about proving dominance, being bigger, tougher, badder. If you have to bullshit your way up, then bullshit. Feminine communication tends to be more aligned towards emotion and humility. Making personal connections and relations, getting to more intimately know someone.
And when that's how communication works, you sort of just fall into your own gender role through your speech and speech patterns. Start looking into your own speech. And how male dominated (even if you identify female, which I'm sure plenty of you do) it can be. Someone whose gender you don't know is always a "he" (like when someone cuts you off in traffic "dude, you're a dick"), it's "you guys", stuff like that.

It's unfortunate that it's like that. If I knew some female friends I'd definitely come out as they'd probably have a higher chance of understanding.

Wow, that's something I've never even thought of before. Definitely interesting to think about/

Huh, this is actually what I always do and always have done. Interesting.
So uh, this is my first post on this entire forum. Rammlied is a friend of mine and was all like "Hey check out this place" and I was like "okay". So yeah, you all seem like a friendly bunch. I'm not very good at hopping into a new forum like this, so I figured I'd just kind of introduce myself or... something. I've been "out" to friends and family as trans since around November of last year. I still live with my parents, and getting my hands on hormones has proven to be god damn ridiculous. I've been seeing a counselor at a youth group (free) for about 2 months now, and she won't write me a letter to start hormones because my parents are trying to gate-keep me and she feels like it's not a healthy enough environment for me. Blah blah. Whatever. I've recently been spiraling into deep depression (more so than ever before) because I just feel like I'm never going to get anywhere with this, no matter how hard I try. Anyways yeah like I said, you all seem like a friendly bunch. Hope I can contribute something or whatever.
Here's a recent picture of me (Feb 29) with a panda hat on. (Also I have really long hair but you just can't see it in this picture :V)

I guess I could take a photo of me without covering anything sometime...
I could actually do that right now, but I would have to get all fancy'd up and pretty and that might take a while...
You have a hat just like me :3
Where did you get that hat?
I might just shear my god damn hair with the way it's been acting.
Just curious, what do you guys(girls) identify as being female?
This question has always been bothering me because it seems to me that my feminine tendencies and preference are nothing much, that it's just a part of normal like, or identity.
