Last I heard, Tap water has to be tested for e.coli and bottled water doesn't.
Not here, Scotland has clean tap water. tapwater4lyfe I actually prefer milk.
anarchism is stupid
It's basically communism but slightly different because they don't like Marx's "Dictatorship of the Proletariat" idea.
Last I heard, Tap water has to be tested for e.coli and bottled water doesn't.
Doesn't matter. Bottled water is just tap water anyway. (Most of the time, afaik)
Chocolate Milk is the answer to all your problems. [editline]20th September 2012[/editline]
Doesn't matter. Bottled water is just tap water anyway. (Most of the time, afaik)
Technically it's worse, because bottled water isn't as regulated as tap water. You're better off getting water from a hose than buying bottled water.

I used to love skim milk, but now my liver can't tolerate dairy. I just drink Silk soymilk now, and it is gooood.
I tried Soymilk. never again. it tasted like someone had put liquefied digestive biscuits into water.
For some reason when I eat cereal I love the milk, but then when all the cereal is gone and there is just milk left in the bowl I taste it and go "What the hell is this?" and pour it out. :s
What about if there was a nce cereal there? i love drinking the milk after a bowl of fruit loops
Cookie Crisp goes best with milk. Cookie flavoured Milk
You guys get the best cereal, we have corn flakes, wheat bix, coco pops, rice bubbles and thats pretty much it
rice crispies are the shit. No sugar, and freezing cold milk. Sometimes in a glass
I like my cereal without cereal.
Cookie Crisp goes best with milk. Cookie flavoured Milk
pepsi
Eating Oreos and Pepsi right now :)
Off topic (Personally I mostly mix milk in my coffee), but I just love this pic!
Having "Fuck X" on a sign just looks pretentious in my opinion.
I tried Soymilk. never again. it tasted like someone had put liquefied digestive biscuits into water.
Unflavored soymilk is kinda bad in my opinion. Flavored soymilk is actually not too bad at all though.
So NC Pride is in a couple weeks, and I'm possibly going dressed up as a girl. My mom said we might be able to get me a wig and a skirt, socks are already covered!
Best thing about eyeliner: rubbing your eyes and getting that "oh fuck no" moment, realizing what you just did.
That ain't half of it. Liquid eyeliner and mascara.
Though I don't really post in fourms, i just wanted u all to know that you all indirectly gave me the confidence to tell my parents about being transgender. *Fixed?
Though I don't really post in fourms, i just wanted u all to know that you all indirectly gave me the confidence to tell my parents about being a transgender.
*being transgender. I normally don't correct people, but that really irks me. How'd it go?
*being transgender. I normally don't correct people, but that really irks me. How'd it go?
Haven't yet, going to this weekend though.
*being transgender. I normally don't correct people, but that really irks me. How'd it go?
Why does the "a" make such a huge difference? I mean it may just be me but oh my god who cares, it's comparable to saying "I'm a lesbian" and being told to say just "I'm lesbian" in my opinion. 'Course you obviously have your reasoning but xero isn't wrong, she's just saying what would usually come to mind.

Reinforcing that usage isn't really a good thing, in my opinion.

That's like saying it's derogatory to call you "a woman" if I wasn't female and as such, wasn't completely able to understand what it was like, or other circumstances. That's just the weakest connection you could possibly make. Plus, I'm pretty sure a bigot or someone less educated on the topic isn't going to care if there's a vowel between the "I'm" and "transgender" in a sentence, all they need is that last word to pass judgment or form an opinion on anyone.
Haven't yet, going to this weekend though.
Welcome to FP by the way, where we can argue over a single letter for sport.
But.. how? It's not a definition of who someone is, it's a descriptive factor. We had a trans woman running for mayor a while back, and you could tell very easily which of our media groups were bigoted and which were non-partisan by how they described her. The ones that called her "the transgender" were filled with hateful comments while the organizations that called her "the transgender woman" or "the woman, who is transgender" just offered information. Using it as a noun takes the humanity out of the description. Regardless of how you interpret the term, it's used as a means to defame others.
You are arguing over someone's use of the letter "a". Someone described themselves and used the letter "a", and this is enough to evoke a response? Seriously, what are you doing?
