WELP. After god-knows how many months (maybe a year) of forgetting my password and facepunch's password-reset captcha not working, I finally return. Hurp-de-durp ignore the blue room and the crappy photo. I honestly don't like my face, so I prefer to take shots showing my back.
Hi, do you remember me, Kon? It's itzdracula?
of course I do. I remember your username, but not Killz'(s?), since he changed his.
confessed that i'm transgendered to my mom today (already have to my dad, he just kinda dismissed it) and she took it well and fully supports me. she says we should read a book about it to make sure that i'm sure of myself, and then maybe i'll get therapy.

"Hey dad, I'm a trans." "Okay, now take out the trash." "...Kay."
My dad is doing it.

Well my mum just walked out on us apparently.

Go back to him with a more thorough understanding of it, that may cause him to take you more seriously.
Well my mum just walked out on us apparently.
What happened?
I don't know. She just left saying "I'm not coming back." I think my sister was berating her. [editline]26th March 2012[/editline] It's happened before though.
But still, a parent walking out on their family can be a stressful and maybe depressing moment for a day or so. I hope everything is fine. :c
Especially since I wasn't having the best day before and the fact that the rent is due in two days and she has it. [editline]26th March 2012[/editline] I called it. She came back like nothing happened.
i just bought 7 pairs of panties from Victoria's Secret, because there was a 7 for 26 deal.
uhm.. Hi, I need a bit help. So.. I'm a transgender, I've known it for a couple of years, and have crossdressed for about four years. And I'm planing to tell my parents today, any tips?

You're not ew. [editline]27th March 2012[/editline]
uhm.. Hi, I need a bit help. So.. I'm a transsexual, I've known it for a couple of years, and have crossdressed for about four years.
You're not ew. [editline]27th March 2012[/editline] You mean transgender, transsexual implies you already had the operation.
sorry. I did mean transgender.
You're not ew. [editline]27th March 2012[/editline] You mean transgender, transsexual implies you already had the operation.
I thought transgender was an umbrella term for anyone whose gender didn't match their sex, and that transsexual was anyone whose gender and sex were opposites (male to female, female to male), regardless of whether or not they'd started HRT or gone through SRS?

Maybe throw in "You'd love and support me no matter what, right?" before telling them.
It's not like you'll be losing anything about yourself. You'll be the same person mentally in the end, but you'll end up with a much better outlook on life. Also, new outfit weee:
I see a cat [editline]27th March 2012[/editline] cute outfit btw

I think I'm being excessively quiet (Nervous) and my mum doesn't entirely think I'm serious and that just makes me more nervous. What if the doctor thought that, then I'd be totally screwed.

Going to one can show her that you ARE serious.
I'd probably love to crossdress, but I doubt my mutated lumberjack-esque physique would allow it. Anybody have an article or something I could read on the psychology of crossdressing, just out of curiosity?
confessed that i'm transgendered to my mom today (already have to my dad, he just kinda dismissed it) and she took it well and fully supports me. she says we should read a book about it to make sure that i'm sure of myself, and then maybe i'll get therapy.
Consider yourself damn lucky. Most parents would read another book about this.... the Bible.
I'm Androgynous. Fuck yea. I'm a hybrid, the best of both worlds.
Doctors take what people say very seriously. They can't just shrug things away. Going to one can show her that you ARE serious.
The doctors here can shrug it off.
I thought transgender was an umbrella term for anyone whose gender didn't match their sex, and that transsexual was anyone whose gender and sex were opposites (male to female, female to male), regardless of whether or not they'd started HRT or gone through SRS?
"Sex" is your physical, biological characteristics, so transsexual would be someone who has undergone surgery. A transsexual is also a transgender.
The doctors here can shrug it off.
Then they're either shit doctors or hella cynical.
[t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7313569/my/IMG_20120327_152408.jpg[/t] hhhh whats going on
Cute.
