I don't even know what your measurements are in my country's metric measuring shit.
I'm about 176cm and my shoe size is 44... My weight is around 80kg, but not overweight though. Edit: Oops, messed up the height (kinda mixed feet with centimeters etc)
My mom say that I can't do HRT until I start doing community work, working out regularly, 'take care of my body', and generally start loving myself. And my dad says that I should just let nature work out and at the most I should wait until I'm done with puberty until I do HRT. fdsfdgs gah
Fuck your parents. by that, I don't mean it literally, just go with what your heart desires. People who tell you what you can't and cannot do can go choke on a dick.

I can sorta understand the puberty argument. There's a lot of confusing stuff going on then and what you think you want to be one day might change in not too long. However afaik there are downsides to not doing HRT before you go through puberty.

There may be a lot of confusing stuff but that's what the therapy is for.
GOD DAMMIT THE SUPPORT GROUP WAS LAST WEEK FUCK GOD DAMMIT I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER MONTH
Trust me, there is NO fucking basis to the Puberty argument. EVER. For example some people become unsure about their gender but it passes over in a year or two. I'm of course not saying that this is the case with everyone, it's just a chance and doing such a life-changeing procedure is kinda big if you're still in puberty and this might just be temporary. You may end up regretting it one or two years later. By the therapy, do you mean the hormone therapy or therapy you do before to make sure if you should do HRT or not? I may be on the wrong track here.

Whoops I thought HRT somehow meant hormone therapy, sorry I'm crazay.
HRT = Hormone Reassignment Therapy And most people that have feelings of transsexuality that pass quickly (a few months/years) yet go for therapy are more than likely either a) experimenting (and instead of saying "I think I am", they say "I am") and deciding it's not for them or b) doing it for attention.

Since afaik before they put you on HRT they first put you through therapy to make sure you're just not being temporarely confused or something.

However this is something I've seen in my life that's been fairly constant, and I just started to notice it when I was in 7th grade. When I was a kid I always got along better with girls, and I liked the idea of being a girl. In 7th grade I started considering the idea. It's not like when I pondered the idea a few days ago and I declared I was transgender.

Have you told them about this earlier?
Just got a new skirt and tights~ [photo here]
...Dayum.
I have told them. I've told them a bunch of times about how this is constant as opposed to other things coming and going. It's more about them than it is about me at this point, they want to be absolutely sure, which is fucking annoying.
explain to them over and over that waiting until puberty over is fucking devastating to your mental health.
At this point it looks like I'm just going to have to wait it out. God dammit. And it's my dad who wants me to wait until after puberty, my mom just wants me to do a bunch of shit as requirements before she'll consider doing HRT, like doing volunteer work and learning to like myself and keep myself in good health. I mean, those are godo things to do, but why the fuck would they be required to do something like this?

Your mom wants you to "improve yourself" hoping it will "improve" the trans out of you, meanwhile your dad just doesn't believe you and hopes its a teenage thing you'll grow out of. At least that's how it sounds.
Wait... what? You'r 189 cm... and less than 60kg? Are you Slenderman? lol
I used to weigh 62kg too, but now I'm up to 73 or something I might try and drop the extra weight
I don't think it's about the trans, but they want to be really sure about this, even though I say that I'm absolutely sure myself.
I don't think it's about the trans, but they want to be really sure about this, even though I say that I'm absolutely sure myself.
Are you going to see a therapist about it? How are you working this out right now? If you are, tell your therapist to tell them.
I have a therapist, but not one that specializes in transgender. I've been trying to get my doctor to refer me to one but no avail.
So anyways, I bought some new sunglasses, and thought I'd show them off... which means I'll have to show my face *gulp* I'M GONNA DIE . . . (I know it's kinda blurry, sorry. Oh, and I hate my chin :c)
